MISSING PERSON – John Costello – C190042614

The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating missing a 86-year-old male, John COSTELLO.

COSTELLO was last seen in the south Transcona area of Winnipeg the afternoon of February 26th, 2019. It is believed COSTELLO travelled between Lundar, MB, Ashern, MB & Winnipeg in the evening of February 26th, 2019. COSTELLO is driving a 2009 blue GMC Sierra extended cab half ton truck, licence plate # BAT 376. NOTE: Picture of truck below is not exact vehicle. COSTELLO's truck has a blue cap on the the back.

COSTELLO is described as a caucasian male, 6'4", average build, white short hair and should be wearing prescription glasses. COSTELLO may be wearing a one piece black snowsuit and red hat.

The Winnipeg Police Service is concerned about COSTELLO's well-being and is asking anyone with any information regarding his whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.

FYI Lundar, MB is a small town about 132 km northwest of Winnipeg on Highway 6, while Ashern is about 60 km past Lundar on the same highway. The weather yesterday was treacherous for driving - high winds and bitterly cold, around -18°C with gusty winds. South Transcona is in the far east of the city.
