The man accused of abducting and sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl then dousing her with bleach once hit a woman with a hammer and exploded a firework in another woman's face.

John Adam Greene's criminal record is "lengthy and violent," according to Parole Board of Canada documents.

Parole records include three convictions for robbery, two for uttering threats and one count of assault with a weapon.

Once, with a female co-accused, he took two kitchen knives to an acquaintance's home and attempted to steal her vehicle. He punched her in the face.

He also twice pulled a knife on men and, while incarcerated in April 2008, he was "defiant, aggressive and threatened and assaulted staff," according to the parole board.

In the past, he has "refused to participate in treatment" and "denied having a substance abuse problem."

The parole board says he has "a clear propensity to violence, impulsivity, lack of emotions, anger control and poor decision making skills."

I sure am glad this guy is in custody and hope he stays there.

He's only 29 and has an extensive and VIOLENT criminal record, yet there he was, roaming the streets able to attack an innocent child. :banghead:

"Police say following an investigation they now believe Greene "intended to end the life of the young victim."

The new charge has now been laid in addition to numerous charges previously laid in connection to the incident, including abduction, aggravated sexual assault and threatening death".

John Greene admitted in court to sexually assaulting and trying to kill a girl in a Hamilton apartment... He pleaded guilty Friday to attempt murder, sexual interference, abduction, breach of probation and robbery.

He will return Jan. 5 for sentencing at which point the crown will also formally file a dangerous offender application.

The accused made ''eye contact'' with the victim's family; and, he had expressed to his g/f prior to the incident that he ''had an itch to kill someone''.....(from video)

This one is a 'most unusual' case given that the accused has admitted guilt and confessed that he needs psych help and has sought help in the past in addition to wanting to cooperate on the dangerous offender designation. He knows he's dangerous -- true --- and again we don't hear of this very often do we?

Canadians are so nice, eh? Good to know society will finally be protected from this creep.

Seeing that muscular guy and thinking of him hurting and abusing that little girl, ( he doused her afterward with bleach, for heaven's sake)
makes one hope that being a prisoner " sandwich" was extremely uncomfortable. . imo.
