The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a missing man.

John Reid, 81, was last seen on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 4 p.m., in the Jarvis Street and Wellesley Street Eastarea.

He is described as 5'8", with a slim build, and white hair.

He was last seen wearing light-coloured clothing, prescription glasses, and uses a walker.

Police are concerned for his safety.

This will sound dumb, but is he ok/alive? I always worry about older folks, and he was missing for a fairly long time.

This will sound dumb, but is he ok/alive? I always worry about older folks, and he was missing for a fairly long time.

Actually had worried and wondered about the same thing.
At one time when someone was located i would add an exclamation mark, but stopped doing that after a missing young man was located and after showing my happy excitement !!! about that, a friend of his popped on to say he was found deceased.
Sad lesson learned, but still hoping Mr Reid was in fact, found safe and sound.
