Omigod, can you even imagine the horror Tetreault must have felt? His stomach must have hit his knees when he found out what Twitchell had planned for him. Wouldn't that just shake you to the core of your being?

Thanks for posting this site. Loads of stuff there I hadn't seen before.

I agree LadyL. I was particularly interested in the CBC interview with Chris Heward:

http://www.lastlinkontheleft.com/e2008altingerheward.html

Heward is another actor who played the "victim" in House of Cards. A few things stood out to me ... that detectives asked CH what he knew about the "snuff film industry"; that real swords were used by all members of the film crew in the filming; that no fake blood was on the set.

JMO, but considering the above, combined with Twitchell's carefully crafted emails to his friends, I don't necessarily buy that Twitchell was in this alone.

again, MOO

Can anyone tell me if Twitchell grew up in Alberta?

Hi, my partner went to High School in Edmonton with him. They weren't friends.

So he admits to killing him IN SELF DEFENSE??? Wow....this guy is unbelievable.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/story/2011/04/06/edmonton-twitchell-testifies.html

IMO, Twitchell is a megalomaniac. He truly believes that he, and he alone, is the person who will save him in this whole mess. I'll bet a lotta $$ that his lawyer advised against it.

There is at least one glaring omission in Twitchell's testimony. I'm purposely NOT going to post it here tonite on the off-chance that somehow he would get wind of it. I'm sure the Crown caught the omission, and if not, I'm sure the jurors will pick up on it.

Sorry it was junior high, apparently he had few friends and was quite strange at school. The school was Saint Cecilia. He remembers he had lots of coldsores and thick glasses, kind of nerdy. I would be in trouble for writing that I'm sure. LOL

Closing arguments wrap up case for Twitchell defence ...

full article: http://www.edmontonjournal.com/Clos...hell+defence/4596170/story.html#ixzz1JFAD1Zfy

... But during his trial, he testified that Altinger attacked him with a pipe after learning he wasn't going to meet a woman ...

Now that closing arguments are over, the "omission" that I alluded to, and haven't seen covered in any testimony or cross-examination:

Um, so if this wasn't at all planned ?? ... after Altinger supposedly attacked Twit with a pipe, and before his victim died, is this when he elicited all Johnny's email passwords, home address, etc from the dying man?

I might be wrong, but I thought he went to Johnny's apartment and logged onto Johnny's accounts with saved passwords.

Thanks Twinkle. What you say may well be what Twitchell has said, but IIRC, the actual script for House of Cards indicated that passwords were elicited from the victim while he was at the garage. Hard to figure out what is fact or fiction in this case at times.

I'm happy about this verdict. It would be ironic if this story were told as a film but I really hope that this does NOT happen. I really think he wants the fame and notoriety and he should not get that satisfaction. JMO
