''The Thunder Bay Police Service has announced a new dedicated tipline and a reward for information as they continue the search for a missing 65 year old man, Joseph Alexander Lawson.
The last confirmed sighting of Joseph who goes by Alex was on November 27, 2022.
He is described as having long, straight grey hair, brown eyes, and sporting facial hair.
Investigators say they have exhausted all potential leads and are turning to the public for assistance.
The Thunder Bay Police Services Board has approved a $5,000 reward for anyone who delivers information that results in the discovery of Alex’s location.
The Lac Seul First Nation has also put forward a $10,000 reward.

It would be hard to do that in Thunder Bay, and he would have been located by now. Winter nights can be below -30 °C (-22 °F). He would have had to do a lot of prep work for a hermit type of winter survival, so he didn't likely just go live off the grid either.
