Who provided the photo of Justin to Timmons Police? Wouldn't that person know his full name if they knew his age?

I noticed a lot of 'first name only' cases on Aboriginal Alert, even for adults, I am not sure if this is because the last names are not known, or if there is some other reason to omit them. I haven't noticed this so much on LE MP lists, for example.

Just pulled this off Google, I couldn't word it better. hahaha!
Police are increasingly omitting last names in missing person alerts to protect the individual's long-term privacy, prevent lasting negative impacts, and avoid public stigma after they are found. This policy change, adopted by several Canadian agencies, aims to protect people who return to their lives, school, or work from lingering, often inaccurate, online records.

I think that's fair, and probably a smart option tbh. I've already come across cases where I have stumbled onto the personal information of people who are found safe and going on with their lives but haven't been removed from databases or news stories and I felt quite bad for peaking in.

Perhaps after a certain amount of time has passed if the person is still missing they do eventually add their last names in case it might help solve a case of a more permanent missing status.
