Has their camper been located?

Read on twitter that they were spotted at the coop in Gillam yesterday, and people didn't identify them until today, which if they were spotted in north Sask on Sunday, that would be possible. I also read someone say that a group message from some people in Gillam said that they were spotted on the ferry from Split Lake, MB to York Factory. The split lake ferry actually goes to York Landing which is quite far from York Factory.

According to a local in that RCMP twitter feed, the RAV 4 was found and photographed burning yesterday, and then the shell was photographed today. That would line up with the clerk at the gas bar yesterday. So one way or another, they’re probably long out of area.
Gas bar being gas station in US terms ? And that is huge ...,if we are talking 24 plus hours ..

So did the Rav4 belong to the unidentified dead guy?

How far away are the other two missing men? I'm embarrassed my knowledge of Canadian geography is "Toronto is in the east and Vancouver is in the west."

The RCMP haven’t confirmed the origin of the RAV4 other than the two males were sighted in northern Saskatchewan (now possibly in the area of Gillan, Man). From BC they’d be heading east, through the northerly portion of the provinces.

The case of the other two missing men occurred in southern BC. It appears to be entirely unrelated due to the location, timing and distance involved. Neither have LE ever mentioned a possible connection that I’ve noticed.

Yes, gas bar = gas station. :) Though I probably should have said station. Gas bar is more typical language for a regular “big” gas station - multiple covered pumps, convenience store etc etc.

From York Landing there's a bit more road, and some of it isn't marked on google maps, but you can see it on sat. view. I haven't fully traced where those go, but they run close to the rail line between Winnipeg and Churchill. Maybe could hop the back of a train

The rav4 in Gillam was found over 24 hours ago? And since then it’s possible the took the ferry to York landing, which would mean they’re likely headed back south again, likely where there’s more roads? Or am I confused lol

24 hours is a lonnnng time to get very far!!

I'm not seeing anything of interest? The photo of the burnt out car which we've already seen. That said, I'm tech challenged on twitter so maybe I'm missing it.
One particular pic with respect to murdered couple.

What if anything do we know about these two ?
Very little, I know they went missing from Surrey, BC. Their jeep was found abandoned at Logan Lake, BC (which is like a 3 hr drive from Surrey). & family and friends have not heard from them and are saying it's out of character. I find it super strange..

What location was the clerk at the gas bar? IIRC one was interviewed in Saskatchewan, but that was prior to LE’s media brief about possibility of the two males travelling further east to Gillam, Man.

Not a lot other than a tiny bit of twitter chatter to backup the Split ferry spotting, but if they did manage to get on it, that would probably be a good route to avoid getting snared in blockades off the highway in/out gillam

Why do we think the rav4 was located yesterday? The tweet I found is from a few hours ago and it's a girl posting about info a friend has sent to her from the area. It's all fairly recent, like within the last few hours.

I had felt the same as you, but @JuneBug67 had said otherwise so I’m really wondering if we could really be that behind? Or just a miscommunication? I might be the one getting this all wrong lol

Hopefully they’ve got all sorts of patrol already on all the roads south of York landing!

Is the ferry a car ferry or only passenger?

So sounds like they're on the move but how far will they get? Their luck has to run out soon I hope. I predict they'll be caught in Ontario if they manage to get into Ontario.

Some of you may have seen the crime scene photo on FB that came out early today w/ the bodies blurred. Gray did a video which included the photo. Start video about 4 minutes in.

We’re not allowed to post comments here, but there is a comment on the Manitoba RCMP feed that explicitly says the car was found and photographed on fire yesterday, and photographed again today as the burned out shell.

Jeez I hope they're not that smart. Their luck will run out soon enough. The net is closing in around them :)
