"Suspicious items" were found at the Oshawa home where convicted murderer Adam Strong lived.
Durham Regional Police seized the items after they were found by a contractor working on the
McMillan Drive home.
Const. George Tudos of the Durham police said the items have been sent to the Centre for Forensic Sciences in Toronto for analysis.''
''That will take several months before police know what they have, Tudos added.
Strong was convicted in March 2021 of first-degree murder in the killing of Rori Hache and manslaughter in the death of Kandis Fitzpatrick. He was sentenced to the mandatory term of life without no possibility of parole for the murder conviction and 18 years for the manslaughter conviction. The manslaughter sentence is being served concurrently with the murder sentence.''
''Tudos said the items "right now, are not connected to any old cases."
Police are not disclosing what the items are, beyond saying they were found on the premises, he noted.''
