Police have noted that Clark was last seen leaving a home in the Castlemore Road and Humberwest Parkway area at 1 a.m. on July 18.

Clark's death is Peel's 11th homicide this year.

"In addition to appealing for witnesses, and anyone who had dealings with the victim between July 18 and 21, the investigators are also appealing to people who would've known the victim," said Murphy.

Anyone with information can call homicide investigators at 905-453-2121, ext. 3205.

I guess we're not going to get much more information regarding this case. I'd like to know where she was living, with whom she may have been living and whether the person at the home she apparently left at 1am has been cleared. Also, did she drive a car or did she live close enough to walk home. And who would let their friend walk home alone at 1am unless they also didn't have a car? Brampton is a rough area now. Here's an example of the random crime in that city...

Brampton woman pushed down, robbed by 2 ****s on residential street

Peel police say the 19-year-old Brampton woman was attacked just after 11:30 p.m., July 24, in the area of Kingknoll Drive and Danum Road. Her attackers had their faces covered. They took property from her after pushing her to the ground and ran off.

Here's another gunpoint robbery of a convenience store just this past Monday...

And the week before...

Man threatened with knife in Sunday afternoon park robbery in Brampton

Just look up Brampton robbery and the list is endless. Seems to be a few a week.

So did Kara have any property on her that was stolen? Was she walking alone at 1am? Was she carrying a purse, wearing jewellery and were all of her personal effects found with the body? Could this have been a random robbery or other type of attack?

Brampton's not that far from Orangeville. I'm thinking of SV here

I think it's a stretch to think that whomever did this might be related to SV's murder considering these are two very different crimes.

Sure would like some closure on SV's murder though. It's scary to think that he is still out there.

More than $2,000 raised in memory of Kara Clark

The community came together on Saturday, July 29, in memory of the late Kara Lynn Clark.

The Spot Bar and Lounge in Brampton at 9980 Airport Rd. organized a candle light vigil to honour Clark’s life and her family. All sales and proceeds from Saturday, as well as remembrance donations, are being given in memory of Kara to The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, as per her family’s wishes.

Strange that there's been absolutely no follow up on this case. :waitasec:
