On Friday, April 15, 1988, Toronto cops responded to a check address call in the area of Bathurst St. and St Clair Ave. W. Horvath, 52, was found inside a home suffering from blunt trauma. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
