Nothing new in MSM to add here, it all says the same thing. It's been over 10 days. Where is she??

The location where she was last seen is a busy neighborhood with a lot of apartment buildings & homes. There's a high school nearby, a shopping center several blocks east of the location and it's along a bus route.

At 7:30 a.m on a Monday morning there would be a lot of traffic. People walking dogs, kids headed to school, people driving to work etc. Someone must have seen something.

London Police Services described Leach-Russo as five-foot-two, 145 pounds, with chin-length brown hair and a tan complexion. Officers also shared she has dark brown eyes and a large build.

Anyone with information that could lead to the whereabouts of Katherine Leach-Russo is asked to contact London Police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Police and family have both expressed concern for her safety.

Her FB page states she lives in Victoria, BC, and that she is from Stratford, Ontario. Stratford, Ont. is very close to London, Ont., where she was last seen:

Did she move back to the Stratford area, or was she visiting? ETA: her last public FB post was in 2018, so it is very possible that she hasn't updated her info.

Did she live in the area? Was she visiting someone? How was she discovered to be missing?

I found some social media sites that appear to have been made when she was younger. She seems like a bright, life-loving type of person. Hopefully there will be something soon.

*ETA: On one site, I found information that describes what might be a hearing impairment?? If it's wrong to include this, please let me know. I'm NOT stating as a fact but if true, it seems worth mentioning.

If you mean the female "D.H" who made several comments, I'm not so sure I'd take these comments as truth or fact. Not until they are confirmed elsewhere in MSM or via LPS as valid. I do agree with another poster though, who said this is getting scary and highly suspicious. Too many missing women and suspicious deaths.

The only reason I mention a hearing impairment is from info I found during a Google image search using the missing womans' name. From there, you can see several accounts and postings, one of which is from her youth (some kind of science fair thing) and the info is written in her "bio". I'm assuming the bio was written by Katherine Leach Russo herself?

I agree about not taking FB comments seriously! What I do like about FB comments, is they can be "suggestions" of new topics to research.

Sidenote: When I was in public school, the school bus drove right past the "last seen" location, down Baseline Rd W. I'm kind of saddened now and will definitely keep my eyes on this.

Just posting to note that Katherine doesn't appear on the "Missing Persons" section of the London Police website. Also cannot find any "Missing Persons" section for the Stratford Police website.

Is a person still considered missing even if they're not officially listed anywhere? I find it odd that this story isn't getting more attention. Wondering what the circumstances of her life were prior to going missing. It's been over 3 weeks.

I went through the Canada missing persons FB page and found Katherines' post (dated 7th of February) so @TatianaBarbie it appears to still be listed on that page... unless I'm wrong? (I couldn't link to it for some reason)

There's been no updates, nothing on LPS site or elsewhere (assuming @dotr would be first to post anything new).

Wondering about the circumstance/scenario that led to Katherine going missing. At 7:30 Monday morning. Did someone see her outside? What was she wearing? Did she have a job? A vehicle? What about her phone and online activity? Was she seeing anyone/boyfriend/girlfriend? What was her living arrangement? Who reported her missing? Who was the last person to see her? Was she expected anywhere that day (work, appointments etc)?

I'm unfamiliar with missing persons cases but it seems like there should be some kind of update. If she was found, there should be an update. If she's still missing, she needs a page on the LPS site. Cannot understand why she isn't listed on there?!

Yes, it is strange that there is no update. Katherine is not listed on the LPS Missing Persons list, and I went through the LPS General Releases, where they had other missing people announced, and other missing people announced as found, but nothing about Katherine. Katherine's missing info is still in all of the MSM sources, and none of the MSM sources listed in this thread have been updated. Katherine is also still listed as missing in various missing-in-canada websites and FB pages.

She really does have a similar "feeling" in her photo. You can read warmth and goodness from her in that picture. Also, from the bit I gathered when searching Katherines' info, her story seems like it would read very much the same as SV. It looks like Katherine was involved in Junior Achievement for a project about hearing impairments. Junior Achievement is a program for youth who are "gifted" or "going somewhere", the kids who are inventors, future business people etc.

What could the circumstances be surrounding Katherines' disappearance? Who goes missing at 7:30 on a Monday morning??? Did she fail to show up for work? Where did she work, if she had a job? Was there a boyfriend or romantic interest/FWB? Did she drive or use public transit? Who reported her missing? What about her phone? I saw a post on Reddit saying her phone has been off and that the poster has tried contacting KLR so must be someone close. There seems to be no POI or anyone new persons on LPS wanted list.

Something about this reminds me of the Valerie Reyes story from last year. The girl from Rochester, N.Y whose ex boyfriend attacked her and hid her body in a suitcase. She had been anxious and spoke to her mother just hours before she "went missing". She'd told her mom she was scared, didn't say why and before ending the call, said she'd go make something to eat and try to sleep. Then she disappeared.

Hopefully this is just one of those cases where the person is listed as a formality and is not, in fact, missing and in danger. A huge part of me wants to believe it's just a mistake and that she's home safe and that LPS are just bad at their job. The last experience I had with local LE left me with a lot of questions about how reliable LPS really is. Someone set fire to our local "little free library" and it took 2 phone calls + over 2 hours of waiting before LE showed up.

I know being critical of LE is wrong however shoddy police work is preferable to an actual missing/murdered/injured person.

Really hoping this info is correct! I saw something on Reddit but no confirmation.

There seems to be nothing in MSM. Not even an official MP page on LPS site or elsewhere. It would be great if there were some kind of update. Can't help but think if she had been legit missing this long, there would be more news about it.
