  • Clothing & Personal Items: A Stanfield's summer T-shirt. Blue corduroy jacket with school crest. Brown pullover sweater. Green denim/corduroy pants. Red & beige cap - reversible to blue. White jockey shorts. Grey wool handmade socks. Rubber -possibly chest high- waders.
  • Jewelry: Silver Timex wrist watch with expansion bracelet. Compass hanging on a shoelace and worn as a necklace.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
Roy was last seen on October 26, 1973 when he left to go on a hunting trip alone. Despite being an experienced woodsman, he has never been heard from again. He was reported missing from the Nepisiguit River area approximately 75-80 miles from Bathurst, New Brunswick on October 29th, 1973. His whereabouts remain unknown.

Aha! I was on my way to make a thread about this case but came across yours instead. I unfortunately do not have any good information to add on, other than that I made a reddit post (prior to knowing of WS's existence) and received a reply suggesting he changed his identity, committed suicide, or passed from an accident in the wilderness. They suggested going through unidentified bodies in the area-- maybe that's a good place to start? I'll have to look into it.
