I hooked onto the MDS Nordion being based in
Mississauga, ON in your post, SB. Search took me to our old Thread #2, page 16, SB's post # 380 where which gives the race results in the National Capital
1998 - JS was #1155 city Mississauga; RW was # 1152 city Orleans.

[some darn good work on that page!!]
I found a site which gives the name of that race as
The MDS Nordion 10K, in Ottawa May 9,1998 which shows JS city as Mississauga.
I found that JS ran in the Scotia Bank Waterfront Marathon, Toronto,
2003 which gives JS' city as Mississauga. (RW is not listed).
JS is not listed in the 2005 race in which RW ran. (given in SB's link above).
So, in 1998-2003 JS gives his city as Mississauga, which is headquarters for both MDS Nordion and AECL.
JS was in Hawaii (telescope job) in 1991, but by 1993 was back with AECL as project manager on the Maples project.
"MDS Nordion was
originally part of AECL, but was privatized in 1991. MDS Nordion owns the 2 Maples reactors but AECL apparently retains responsibility for them. [ Is a reactor a reactor if it never produces a single isotope and was never commissioned??]
So, I guess if you cross your eyes just right, since MDS Nordion owned the 2 Maples in 1993 when JS returned to AECL as project manager on them specifically.....
in a way he worked for MDSN, huh?
The USA part is just wrong, no matter how I twist my thinking into contortions to ensure that I'm not biased about this.
