MONTREAL - Pierre Duhaime, former CEO at engineering giant SNC-Lavalin, was arrested Wednesday after $56 million went missing at his former firm.
The former executive at Canadas biggest engineering firm was being interrogated at Quebec provincial police headquarters in east-end Montreal.
I can confirm Mr. Duhaimes arrest, said Anne-Frederique Laurence, spokeswoman for the provincial anti-cprruption unit.
The police intervention was made at his home this morning. He will be freed with a promise to appear, but we dont have the date yet.
