Security camera footage shows him walking near Fallsview Boulevard and Dunn Street in downtown Niagara Falls. He was wearing a dark winter jacket with grey sleeves, tan pants and black shoes, and carrying a small backpack.

Landry was in Niagara Falls for a birthday celebration and was registered as a hotel guest in an area hotel.
He's described as black, about five-foot-five, and 154 pounds, with short black hair.

''So, what happened to Landry Ntwari?

There are more unanswered questions than answers in this case, with little factual evidence to rely on.

Ntwari had never revealed to anyone why he had travelled to Niagara Falls on six occasions between Oct. 2016 and that fateful last trip on Jan. 9, 2017. It is unknown if he had travelled with or met up with anyone on these trips.

The last known time Ntwari was seen was when a security camera captured an image of him walking alone in the popular tourist area of Fallsview Boulevard and Dunn Street—near the Marriott and Tower Hotel. The two hotels are located at this intersection, and Ntwari had checked into one of them. Even with his frequent visits to Niagara Falls, he was not known to any of the hotel staff, police said.''

I think that Ntwari may have committed suicide. Niagara Falls has an effect on people sometimes where they feel pulled towards it. Maybe he had made the earlier trips because he felt connected to the Falls, and maybe he was planning on going there to jump.

Not much is known about him, and police said that he didn't really have any close friends. He didn't tell a single person about his travels. Maybe he was suffering from depression. I've read most of the articles written about Ntwari, and I didn't see any mention of him having a job. I also didn't see any pleas from his family. Did he have any living family members? If not, it sounds like Ntwari led a very lonely life.

I wonder, though, why no security cameras caught him at the Falls. Then there's the fact that nobody saw him jumping. The detail about him not being known to hotel staff, despite going there six times, what does that mean? Is it that out of the ordinary that the staff of a large hotel wouldn't recall a guest? He seems to have been a pretty unassuming person.
