''His mother, Kathleen Toman of Balsam Lake, Ont., said he’d been texting his parents throughout the evening and is normally in frequent communication with family and friends.

“He keeps in contact with us and tells us about his fun and what he’s doing,” she said in a phone interview. “This is not Liam’s nature to not text us.”

His family have been looking for Toman ever since he disappeared, while Quebec provincial police have carried out searches by land, helicopter, and in nearby bodies of water.

On March 22nd, his parents say Toman’s wallet was found outside Mont-Tremblant, not far from where he was last spotted. That launched a second police search, which included helicopters, dogs, ATVs, searchers on horseback and volunteer search-and-rescue groups.''

I wonder who he was texting/calling at 3:15am? Have any of his friends spoke to media? I have been to Mont-Tremblant, and it is a very busy touristy place. It is somewhat similar to Whistler BC as in Ski resorts go. Where is he?

When they found the wallet, was it intact? His ID and cards still in it?

''Quebec provincial police (SQ) and Sun Youth are now offering $50,000 to anyone with information on the Ontario skier who went missing in Mont-Tremblant in February.

Liam Gabriel Toman, 22, was last seen around 3 a.m. on Feb. 2, leaving a bar on Curé-Deslauriers Road after a night out with friends in the ski village north of Montreal.

He is 5′9″ and weighs around 130 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

He was wearing a black Volcom coat, black snow pants, a green sweater and a plaid shirt with a white hat with dark stripes.''

I always wonder how often a monetary offer helps in these cases. I like to believe most people who would know anything would come forward with information early on in the investigation. Leaving only the guilty party to sit with their secret.

I can't remember the details, but this case from a few years back reminds me so much of the man that went skiing somewhere around Pennsylvania with his family, and found himself in or near California. Had zero knowledge how he got there.

''Ten months after her son vanished at a Quebec ski resort, an Ontario mother has returned to the site searching for answers.

Kathleen Toman is at Mont-Tremblant this weekend speaking with people and handing out wristbands. The village has an influx of visitors due to the World Cup.

“We’re here to keep the awareness,” said Toman.''

''The family has also created a website, liamtoman.com, outlining the timeline of Liam’s disappearance.

Despite the ongoing mystery, Toman remains hopeful she will find answers.

“I will not stop. Our family will not stop. We’re going to figure this out.”

''The family of a 22-year-old Ontario man are renewing efforts to find him, more than 10 months after he disappeared at the Mont-Tremblant, Que., ski resort north of Montreal.
On Friday, they published online an open letter reminding the public he is still missing. And in a recent interview, Liam’s mother Kathleen Toman said the family is asking the thousands of people who were at the resort last season to see if they remember anything that could help the case.

“The (new) ski season is opening, and this is the time that people are thinking about their past trip last year — a memory could spark something,’’ she said.''

''Liam’s parents are adamant that someone knows what happened to their son. “We are really hoping that someone’s conscience will get the best of them, or someone knows something, and they will speak up,’’ said Lara Toman, Liam’s stepmother.
Liam’s wallet was found on March 22 in a parking lot, not far from where he was last seen. Quebec provincial police say their investigation is ongoing.''

First time posting here. It’s hard to see how much time has passed without any leads to Liam’s whereabouts. I hope he is found soon.

After watching the videos and reading over details that are in videos and articles about the case, I put this timeline together.

Hope this helps draw attention to moments that potential witnesses may have overlooked.

Liam Toman’s Final Known Timeline (Feb 1–2, 2025)

~11:00 PM
Liam has dinner with friends in the village and remains in frequent text contact with his parents.

~12:00 AM
Liam and his two friends go to Le P’tit Caribou.

~2:30 AM
Friends Depart: Liam’s friends decide to head back to their hotel. Liam chooses to stay at the bar alone.

~2:45 AM
Manager Interaction: According to testimony (specifically from a manager of Le Central who was at the bar), Liam approaches a group of women. The manager intervenes, telling Liam they are with partners. The manager claims he invited Liam to sit and talk for a moment.

3:00 AM
Exit: CCTV shows Liam leaving Le P'tit Caribou. (CCTV footage provided by the bar).

Liam then walks along with 2 women (Lili and Marion) who had also been at that bar and they pass a fight between 2 men. Liam says something to them and they make fun of him for speaking English. He carries on walking.

3:10 AM
Brisk Pace: CCTV on Chemin Curé-Deslauriers captures Liam walking "briskly" toward his hotel.

3:16 AM
The Text: Liam sends the "Meet me outside" text to his father. His father believes this was meant for one of the friends who had left at 2:30 AM.

3:20 AM
Final Sighting: CCTV near the hotel shows Liam briefly speaking with two people (later identified as seasonal workers). They claim the encounter was brief and Liam didn't seem distressed.

Shortly After
Liam is seen moving toward the back/side of the hotel building (La Tour des Voyageurs II). He never enters the hotel. No other sightings since.

Search Timeline

February 2, 2025: An extensive ground search began immediately after Liam was reported missing.

Personnel: The search was led by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) and involved over 100 officers, specialized teams (some from as far as Quebec City), Mont-Tremblant security, and the Quebec Association of Search and Rescue Volunteers (AQBRS).

Duration: This initial search lasted for five days.

Search Methods Used

During those first five days, investigators covered a 500-meter radius of the Mont-Tremblant mountain and pedestrian village using several methods:

Aerial: A police helicopter equipped with infrared technology scanned the mountain, lakes, and roads.

Ground: Teams used snowmobiles, removed snow piles, and utilized horses to comb the mountain terrain.

Water: Divers were deployed on the fifth day to check the nearby swamp and lake.

Community: Officers and volunteers went door-to-door, interviewed residents, and scanned surveillance footage from local businesses.

March 22:

Discovery: Liam’s wallet is found in Parking Lot P1 (Chemin des Voyageurs), a significant distance from the hotel area.

Follow-up Searches

A second major search was launched following the discovery of Liam's wallet on March 22, 2025, which included dogs, ATVs, and searchers on horseback.

Additional searches also took place throughout November 2025 to take advantage of the ground being clear of snow.
