It didn't help Terri McCintic, so hopefully it won't help this woman. Unfortunate as it may be to be a foster child, Victoria is 28 years old and has had 10 years as an adult to make something of her life. Instead, she had looked for handouts and freebies. If it wasn't given to her, she most likely took it. Today, she seems to be an angry woman full of resentment.

Victoria refers to babies as "potatoes" in two separate facebook images. If they were Loretta's roommates when she found out that she was pregnant a few weeks ago, then perhaps she first shared the happy news with Victoria and Blake. Did that make Victoria feel aggressive towards Loretta, territorial with Blake?

Maybe the police lied about video surveillance of Loretta leaving the building to make the suspects feel more confident in getting away with theft and murder. They comfortably left Loretta's car parked at a friend's house three provinces West of Halifax ... perhaps they believed that they'd committed the perfect murder.

Maybe the cab driver saw the blue car pulled up in front of the apartment building ... presumably to load a guest.

I knew that, but I found it interesting that she chose to post those two baby=potato illustrations on her personal media page.

Perhaps I'm reading too much into it, but I get the impression that Victoria wants a soul mate. She seems to be hunting one, and at the same time playing head games with them. She is a very tough woman.

She thinks she's smart because others are naïve and kind. Perhaps she thinks her soul mate is equally cruel and unkind.

It's fantastic that the Canadian Government has contributed 25 million dollars towards reducing the number of missing or deceased aboriginal women in Canada. Obviously, it is working because although Loretta's disappearance was not reported for four days (Feb 13-17), once it was reported, it became a national story.

Loretta's disappearance was solved quickly and professionally. I can't see any fault finding in terms of the investigation. Police said that there was video surveillance of Loretta leaving the apartment, but only police and the murderers knew that the footage was her body leaving the apartment.

Rather ironic she was doing a thesis on missing persons, i wonder if she got to close to an answer or two.

There's a movie called the Vanishing (Dutch version) where the husband is so desperate to find out what happened to his wife that when the murderer contacts him and offers him the opportunity to find out what really happened, he went along. He found himself buried alive. That's a true sociopath.

My understanding is that although Loretta was going to write about three missing/deceased women in Nova Scotia, they were all activists in speaking out for recognition of missing aboriginal women. One murdered activist was from 1975 and it looks like the murderer was from Nova Scotia (extradited to the US). Another activist was murdered by her son (drugs), and the third has not been solved. The research relates to the 600-900 missing aboriginal women in Canada, from 1946 until today, that vanished (link was posted a few days ago).

I had difficulties making the connection between a Canada wide concern and three women in Nova Scotia, but the connection is that they were activists for missing aboriginal women in Canada. I would very much like to read Loretta's research topic proposal. Thank goodness it was 28 pages and not the required 10.

This case just came up on my evening news and they say Loretta was working on her thesis and the topic is missing and murdered women. Did anyone else hear that they have 2 persons of interest one a man and one a woman?

Loretta vanished on Feb 13, was reported missing on Feb 17, and national reports were made in Ontario on Feb 19.

About 21 hours of driving time from Halifax to Harrow, Ontario. About 2200 kilometers and Loretta could be anywhere from Halifax to Harrow. Tips need to start coming in from the public and CCTV cameras need to be checked to verify last sightings of her.

Do we know for sure that Loretta met VH and BL on Kijiji?
What attempts did Loretta's boyfriend of 2 and a half years make to contact her once he received the strange text on the 13th? Was he trying to phone her continuously with concern when that happened?....and a very long time to be reported missing.
