If she was working from 5-1:30AM at BBM in Sept 2009, she was probably cleaning staff. By October, she's heading West. I wonder if she met Blake in Edmonton and whether she was with him in Drumheller when he was arrested.

Based on the trail they left behind I'd imagine that if they had done this before we'd have heard about it by now,

I half and half with this. Victoria lived a very transient lifestyle. If we assume that each time she committed a crime, she left the province (like she did with Loretta's murder), then there could be more crimes.

What makes me question whether there is another murder is that they were so bold with this murder. Some people have described it as careless, or stupid, that they left such a trail of evidence - like stealing Loretta's car and leaving it parked in a friend's driveway. Another possibility is that they have done something like this before and they completely got away with it, so they have become bold and careless.

I think it is also possible that this was the first time they killed anyone. From what I remember BL had charges for possession of pot, theft of a vehicle, assault and fraud.

VH under the name Galbraith has a charge of uttering threats against another women in Halifax. The charge of uttering threats has an a,b,and c classification and a is the most serious with up to a 5 years in jail sentence. She was charged was classified as an [a].

I am wondering rather than killing someone before if these 2 were escalating and VH's dislike of LS's life because VH thought that LS's had the life she deserved just pushed her over the edge.

I doubt that all the schooling reported by LH is even true true.

I'm sorry to be quoting this twice; but I just went back and looked up the article on VH's "unhappy" life that ran in The Chronicle Herald.

Let's not be too quick to dismiss the possible Newfoundland and Labrador connection, because they didn't really confirm what VH was doing after the age of 14. Apparently they could not reach whoever she was supposedly living with after that age.

You may be right from genealogy sites I have found 2 main families I named Henneberry that trace there genealogy back a place called Devil's Island in Halifax Harbor NS the other family was originally Hanebury who many changed to Henneberry from St John's NFL.

I have found no group of people with that name in Ont.

I wonder if she was shuffled back and forth between mom, dad, and foster care.
In the article you linked it said she would not talk about her parents and that they hated her.
It also talked about her mental health issues that were not dealt with according to the foster sister.
It sounds like quite a crappy life not an excuse for what they did but certainly points to in her mind a reason.

Hi gang, I've been offline most the weekend but just want to say, excellent sleuthing!! THink it's very important to establish timelines for two reasons, 1. Whether previous (major) crimes have been perpetuated and/or 2. Whether one or both of these two had become more desperate, as something of a trigger/motive.

Agree with both assessments that A) Loretta represented to VH stabliity/success and that B) LS's pregancy might have triggered some not-so-latent self-hate/mother-hate? in VH. Without much info on BL it does appear VH is the protagonist in this tragic event.

Keep wondering what she was reading so closely in transport to court. Was it a sign or was she simply distracting herself. Slim book--couidn't help but think it was poetry?!

The book was something about how reality shows are fake ... it was in the news a couple of days ago. It's probably something she picked up at prison, something to stare at while she contemplates her new life.

From what little I've seen of her facebook pages, I think that she had some issues with abandonment. There's the one comment where she says something about leaving and being disappointed that some man didn't chase her. I got the impression that she tests relationships to ensure that there is complete loyalty. I too have wondered if the murder was some sort of bonding experience. I think that is something that would be demanded by Victoria, not Blake.

There, she met up with her father's new fling, Carrie, who was Sunny's camp counselor. Unemployed, Sunny was "recruited" by Carrie to appear on a new reality show called "Party Girls." Every week, four girls in "Party Girls" would go to a different bar, to meet up guys and get drunk.
However, in order to participate in the show, Sunny had to pretend that she is single. Which means, she can't tell people about Steve, can't go out with him in public, etc. Sunny, who was doubtful in the beginning, was soon caught in the world of glitz, glamour, and tons of free stuff. She started to take herself a lot more seriously and her relationship with Steve took a setback. Especially, when hot TV star, Matt started paying attention to Sunny.
I really enjoy "As Seen On TV." It is written very well, and is very funny and fast-paced. Mlynowski is definitely one of my favorite chick-lit authors. Her supporting characters are extremely well-developed too. Mlynowski is able to make her characters seem real and readers are able to identify with them. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants relaxing and funny read.

I am wondering from looking at the timeline again if the moving across provinces and across Canada constantly has something to do with drug running and or prostitution.

LH does not appear to have job skills I have seen on her fb pg her interviewing for a mechanic no known schooling to back that up. Construction apparently got the job never mentioned it again. Supposedly was attending Athabasca University and had a certificate for something from Dalhousie University but does not appear to have finished High School.

I think it was also mentioned she was a cleaner for DND.

Nothing pointing to a steady source of income. Moving is expensive even if you are just moving yourself and not loads of possessions.

I also think she has possibly a attachment disorder from being passed around from pillar to post as well as other disorders.

None of that would account for all the moving however even if they were running from warrants I do not know if that would account for it.

and furthermore, to bring it with her in the transport to court and carry it inside the courthouse?!

this is so weird to me ... I have never seen a prisoner allowed a personal item like that

and who in their right mind would be able to read fiction at a time like that?!

(makes me remember the case where the accused tried to say they were part of a reality show and were only doing what they were told to do)

Do not know a lot about him on one of his cousins pg ther was a picture of him posted with a I love you Blake. with comments from other family members commenting that they also love him but do not like him right now and they are trying to understand how he could of done this. Another cousin posted on The Help Find Loretta pg her sympathy to the family and offering to help in any way they could.

I know he lived in Calgary and has lots of relatives in the Calgary, Edmonton corridor including a cousin that was my kids soccer coach.

BL does not seem to have fb or any other social media accounts that I have found.

We don't know anything about Blake yet, but we are able to piece together something of a personality profile of Victoria based on her social media image/comments, her transient lifestyle, her terrible comments about Loretta that were covered on CBC news (link at end of last thread), her claims about accomplishments (work/study) that cannot be true, and where she is today.

Regarding Blake's complete absence on social media, there are a few possibilities: he knew what was coming and deleted it all, someone (family?) deleted it for him, he doesn't know how to use computers and social media (doubtful), he has no interest in social media, he's using an identity that is impossible to find. The fact that there doesn't seem to be an electronic footprint for him might tell us that he's a very private person - perhaps a complete loner.

I think it's a prop so she doesn't have to make eye contact with anyone. She knew that her lawyer was going to request that she not be required to appear, so she must have brought it along to stare at while she waited for the hearing to end. I'm sure it wouldn't matter if the book was upside down ... I really don't think she was reading it. If she was reading it, then she is a very cold woman.

I have been following several cases since TB went missing in May, but this is my first actual post....

I am just curious why the car theft charge was dropped when VH and BL were charged with M1? I'm sorry if this has been discussed and I have missed it, but haven't heard any justification for this.

Based on the reports from LE that LS passed away in the apartment, I assume that LE had known this since their initial forensics search there, and in order to give the perps a false sense of security, continued to report that no damning evidence had been found. I now also wonder if the security footage actually exists of LS leaving the apartment alone -- or if this little nugget, that gave us all some false hope , was deliberately planted by LE in the media to get the attention of the perps. VH's sociopathic grin makes me think that she would be the type of criminal that would be very annoyed if the "facts" were skewed in the media.. she probably had been planning her "perfect crime" for weeks (maybe BL made eyes at LS, and that was the catalyst for this tragedy) VH's smug look makes me believe that not only is she free of remorse, but that she is actually proud of herself for pulling this off.

Bring back the death penalty please! An eye for an eye....

I think if we really knew the truth, we would discover that Miss VH had more opportunities in her "unhappy" life than Loretta had.

Loretta dug her heels and did the work; this one laid around and finally [allegedly] committed murder.

just my opinion of course...but me thinks that VH might have been a bit envious of the closeness of LS to her dad ((LS called her family and/or her dad daily from what I recalled from the earliest MSM reports)).....that's what I meant by supportive family...someone to call and share with on a daily basis
