  • Clothing / Jewelry: Brown leather boots, a grey wool coat with a purple collar and wrists, a black jogging sweater and black jogging pants.
  • Other: Suffers from schizophrenia.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
Lejeune was last seen on February 23, 1991 in Montréal. It is believed that she left after having a fight with her then boyfriend. He states that she left after their argument and he never saw her again. She was not initially reported missing. Police filed a missing person report a year later.
Louise’s mother says that she had a habit of wandering off but would return home a week or two later. There are mixed opinions about whether she was known to wander off for weeks at a time. It is believed that she would have contacted her mother or step father after she left her home on the evening of the alleged argument; they lived only a short distance away. She has not been heard from since.

There has been no new information about the disappearance of Louise. Here are a few more details:

*She usually went by the name Louise or "Lulu" but may have been using the name "Mary".
*Lejeune had a young son that she had regularly scheduled visits with.
*Lejeune was last seen by her family before Christmas at their home in Chateauguay, QC (just outside of Montreal). She failed to show up for her visits with her son but was not reported missing by the family.
*Lejeune was living in Lachine (a suburb of Montreal) at the time with her boyfriend.
*She could also have used her mother's last name Larocque

The Quebec coroner’s office is now making some of its oldest, coldest cases public — in the hopes that someone, somewhere, might recognize something.

''In February, the office launched an online public database of unidentified bodies, containing photos and descriptions of personal items found with them: sweaters, jewelry, tattoos, scars, shoes, wallets — even fragments of tattoos or dental work.''

''Along with a multi-agency working group that revisits unsolved files, the new tool is meant to directly involve the public — something officials say is critical to solving cases that might otherwise remain buried.''

"One of the people watching the database closely is Suzanne Lejeune, whose sister, Louise, disappeared from LaSalle in 1990.

Louise had moved from Ontario to Quebec to be near her son, who was being taken care of by her mother in Châteauguay on Montreal’s South Shore.
Diagnosed with schizophrenia while pregnant, she was receiving disability support and living on limited means.''
