Police have identified two victims so far, but worried there may be more

Montreal police have arrested a 40-year-old man suspected of sexually assaulting children and producing and possessing child pornography.

Mark Villeneuve was charged in Quebec court Thursday afternoon.

Police said two of Villeneuve's alleged victims are young girls, one who is two years old and the other seven years old. They also believe that he preys on single mothers as a way of getting to their young children

Villeneuve apparently sought out the girls’ mother – a single parent – who already knew him, and offered to babysit the children.

Officers believe there could be other victims.

Anyone with information is asked to contact 911 or call their local police station.
