Steve was last seen September 5, 2009. On September 6th he left his parents a note that he was going away for the weekend. On September 8th, 2009 his vehicle was found in a remote area on Emmett Lake Rd, in St. Edmund's Township. It was completely burned. He had been seen at the Tobermory Ferry Terminal on September 9th at 7:00am. It is unknown if he bought a ticket or not for the ferry.
