Police seek public's help identifying cyclist rendered unconscious in serious accident | Montreal Gazette
''Police in the city of Contrecoeur, 50 kilometres north-east of Montreal, are asking for the public’s help in identifying a cyclist who was involved in a serious accident Saturday night.
The incident took place shortly before 10 p.m. in a poorly lit area on Saint-Roch St.''
''The cyclist was unconscious after the crash and transported to hospital in critical condition before being transferred Montreal’s Sacré-Coeur Hospital.
The young man was not carrying any identification, which has complicated matters for police and forced them to ask the public for help.
Lachapelle said the victim is a Black man aged between 15 and 22. He was wearing a black hoodie, dark blue jeans and Nike shoes. He was riding a metallic grey and green Peugeot.
As of early Sunday morning, no missing person had been reported.
Any information that might help identify the cyclist can be provided to police by calling 450-536-3333.''
