This should be moved to deceased, not resolved.
The MP was not found deceased at the time they went missing. The fact that they died at a later time is irrelevant.

This is incorrect. She went missing in 2020 and was found. 3 years later she was killed by police. Also there has not been a determination made yet regarding her death investigation. The MP was not found deceased at the time they went missing. The fact that they died at a later time is irrelevant.

So would a new thread need to be started regarding her murder as she is no longer a missing person? This seems a bit redundant but I also would hate to lessen the traffic on her case by labeling this resolved. What about my statement was incorrect? You’ve basically just paraphrased what I already said. The MP was not found deceased while still considered a missing person. That means it would not be appropriate to use the “Found Deceased” tag. The “Resolved” tag was used here because no official statement from an investigating agency was made to the effect that she was found alive, which would warrant the “Found Safe” tag, but the MP became active on social media after being reported as missing and no further appeals were made as to their whereabouts, so it could be assumed that the person was known to be alive by authorities even without direct confirmation.
