Canada - Mystery surrounds shooting of cyclist on the side of a B.C. highway

Burnaby man was competing in a two-day endurance event when he was shot by an unknown suspect.

...“If you were even along that stretch of highway at 1 a.m. and saw any kind of vehicle or somebody pulled over or anything like that, my thoughts are, get a hold of your local RCMP,” he said.

“Basically, we need somebody that was on that Trans-Canada Highway at that time frame to step forward. That’s my plea out there ... right now they’re at a standstill.”
