Has this woman been called in as a possible match?
Has this woman been called in as a possible match?
I think it looks like a very good possible, Carl. The one thing that is hanging me up is the does two top front teeth. They appear to be ground down, but that is something I would expect with age, and the doe is 'younger'. I can't figure out why those two top front teeth look 'shortened'. Everything else looks spot on, imo.
Thoughts on the two top front teeth?
ETA: Could the two top front teeth been pushed up? or back further than they should be?
Could the teeth have been broken, possibly from an attack?
Great find, jessica!Just wondering if louisette has been looked at. I'm on my phone so I cannot see much on here . I know it says she may have drowned but her face and one tooth just looked too similar.
Both were 5"5 and 130 pounds. Their styles both seem similar .

Seems like this lady could do with a dose of genealogical research!
Alison Mary Thomas
The Doe Network: Case File 2604DFON
![]()
I mean a lot to Alison Mary Thomas, Dark Blonde hair, 5'6", 120 Lbs, 26 years old, Missing since September 27, 1978 from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and I don't know. This one feels.. too close to this Jane doe.
What do you guys think?
The distance of 137 miles is a straight drive on a single road and I guess is not unheard of, particularly if her killer continued on past Napanee, for example to enter the US. But then why choose that location and risk having a body in a car for such a distance?
LE estimate the woman died in 1983 (Doe Network) which would rule out Alison, but PMIs have been known to be wrong.
The biggest red flag for me is that Alison seems to have a different shaped chin - hers is very square and defined and we don't see that in the recons.
@Massachusetts101 Good on you for working hard on this one. It's useful when you post a potential match if you can do a comparison with the unidentified person so that readers get a good idea about what made you stop and go "whoa"! Of course it's not necessary all the time but often people are just flipping through threads and it helps catch their attention if you include the "why" as well as the "who". Love your work!
