Patricia Maye Favel hasn't been mentioned yet. She went missing from Regina in September 1984.

both are 5'6"
age +-18
hair styles match
blond hair colour (Patricia had died her hair blond)
body type ... slight
missing dates line up
both had a wonky eye tooth

Jane Doe's weight is a bit higher, probably an estimate based on clothing size, which might not be her own clothing.

Jane Doe was assumed to be white, whereas Patricia was from a First Nations community.

However, imo, Patricia looks very much like the mannequin of Jane Doe. Is there someone who can post the two pictures side by side?

Do they look similar to you?

I think it looks like a very good possible, Carl. The one thing that is hanging me up is the does two top front teeth. They appear to be ground down, but that is something I would expect with age, and the doe is 'younger'. I can't figure out why those two top front teeth look 'shortened'. Everything else looks spot on, imo.

Thoughts on the two top front teeth?

ETA: Could the two top front teeth been pushed up? or back further than they should be?

Could the teeth have been broken, possibly from an attack?

Long shot here, but what about Kim Sue Leggett?

The time frame is right. The age, height and build are right. The hair is right. (I found another photo of her which wasn't too long before she disappeared and her hair was shorter.) The long nose and pronounced chin are right.

There are no dentals though and the circumstances (she disappeared from Texas, seemingly not of her own accord, and it would seem odd for someone to take her across the Canadian border.)

Thoughts?

That's my thought ... COD was noted as blunt force injury to the head and severe trauma to the left side of the skull

nose a decent match. height and weight good. can't see teeth in pics though.

I zoomed her teeth but they have no gap on front.

Doe's face is rounder, while Myriam Kniaz has a longer face frame.
From what I see, facial proportions are clearly off. Bone frames are off.

You can see it with proportion lines.
The blue lines on one photo and the yellow lines on the other photos are mine. It's a method for looking at facial proportions and how they relate to each other. 438UFON5 facial proportions.jpgMKniaz facial proportions.jpg

For me, it's a veeeery long shot !

1) age is way off : per LE, age is estimated between 16-25 https://www.services.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/missing-disparus/case-dossier.jsf?case=2005002399&id=12

Blonde, Dark blonde hair, shorter than collar with moderate curl
Teeth
Received extensive dental work
Height
160cm / 5 ft 3 in to 170cm / 5 ft 7 in
Build
Slender/Thin
or 18-25yo per OPP's website.

Madeleine is 37.

2) Clothing style are not a match.
I know that people dress more casually on week-ends. However, I doubt that Madeleine would wear the kind of clothing UID wore when she was found.
IUD's kind of clothing is wore by very young ladies, not when you are nearly 40yo.

3) Hair texture don't match actually.
UID had a moderate curl, while Madeleine had straight hair.

4) Hair color don't match. Madeleine's hair color is listed as brown, I would lean towards a dark brown.
UID is considered as dark blond-light brown hair.
Of course, Madeleine could had dyed her hair.

Put together, this match is very unlikely IMO.

Thoughts?
Circumstances don't seem too odd IMHO.

If she's been kidnapped, in those days, crossing the Canadian board was a way for hiding her and making difficult to find her.
The kidnapper could had easily crossed the Canada boarder thanks to the US route 83.

I have seen much stranger circumstances FWIW

(I posted this in Bob Evans and Denise Beaudin's thread as well)

Could it be Denise Beaudin, 23, missing from NH 1981? She fled with her boyfriend, Bob Evans, and infant daughter. They resurface in Ca in March 1984 without her.

Bob Evans claimed to have married Denise in Quebec, what if he did but also killed her there as well (before I get corrected, the doe was found in Ontario and is thought to have been murdered in Quebec).

I found a doe that matches Denise's height and weight. She is believed to have died in 1983. Also the cause of death was from blunt force trauma to the head. BE's MO.
http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/438ufon.html

I wish we had more pictures of Denise to compare. I see a lot of similarities in the nose. I wish I could get a close up on the teeth since Denise has a very unique dentition.

Dec 1981- Denise and BE fled NH
Apr-Nov 1983- Doe is murdered
Mar 1984- BE pops up in CA as Curtis Kimball
Dec 1984-Doe is discovered

Her smile was something that caught my eye so I went through a few missing person cases and found a few people who do look somewhat like her.

I mean a lot to Alison Mary Thomas, Dark Blonde hair, 5'6", 120 Lbs, 26 years old, Missing since September 27, 1978 from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and I don't know. This one feels.. too close to this Jane doe.
What do you guys think?

The distance of 137 miles is a straight drive on a single road and I guess is not unheard of, particularly if her killer continued on past Napanee, for example to enter the US. But then why choose that location and risk having a body in a car for such a distance?

LE estimate the woman died in 1983 (Doe Network) which would rule out Alison, but PMIs have been known to be wrong.

The biggest red flag for me is that Alison seems to have a different shaped chin - hers is very square and defined and we don't see that in the recons.

I do see what you are saying about the different shaped chin which does make me a little blue tho that could be the girls I listed above Alison could always.

Mary Frances Gregory, Marion Joan McDowell, Glenda Tedball, and Crystal Elizabeth Van Huuksloot still are on the table. Marison is a huge long shot but who knows.

@Massachusetts101 Good on you for working hard on this one. It's useful when you post a potential match if you can do a comparison with the unidentified person so that readers get a good idea about what made you stop and go "whoa"! Of course it's not necessary all the time but often people are just flipping through threads and it helps catch their attention if you include the "why" as well as the "who". Love your work!

@Melt71 You are so kind, I am really trying my best to help all the does who have not been given a name and because of staying home for school, this gives me time to do what I love. Helping people as much as I can even if they are dead.

Hopefully, we can narrow down who it could be with the girls I have written down.
