The family of an elderly New Brunswick man missing since last summer is still looking for answers.

Paul Doughty, 76, was reported missing on Aug. 19, 2021. He was last seen the previous day at McKay’s Wild Blueberries in Pennfield.

His family says he was on “a blueberry kick.”

This is a curious case. Missing for a long time. What could have happened to Paul?

They didn't take the car very far. I hope they searched all of the surrounding woods and fields from the Blueberry stand to the car. In miles, that is only 6.2 miles. A person could walk that far.

Update: Police continue to look for missing 76-year-old man | Royal Canadian Mounted Police
August 25, 2021

Update: Sept 1, 2021 - The grey 2013 Buick Verano believed to be driven by Paul Doughty has been located abandoned on a trail off Mckay Loop Road in Pennfield, N.B. Members of the Grand Bay-Westfield detachment, RCMP Police Dog Services and the RCMP's helicopter are searching the area. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Paul Doughty or who has seen him or his vehicle since August 18 is asked to contact the Grand Bay-Westfield RCMP at 506-757-1020.

The daughter of a New Brunswick man missing since last summer is hoping money will entice people to come forward.

A $10,000 reward is now being offered for information that will help locate Paul Doughty from Musquash.
