Limberis was last seen in Trail, British Columbia on July 20, 2005. He packed all of his belongings, along with his dog, Pedro, into his white 2003 Saturn Vue and headed out of town. He was traveling to his residence in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan, where he intended to spend the winter, but never arrived. He has never been seen or heard from again.
Limberis' family considered it uncharacteristic for him to not be in contact and reported him missing about a month later. Despite no evidence of foul play, officials believe the circumstances surrounding Limberis' disappearance are suspicious. His whereabouts remain unknown.
