BREAKING: Police search for escaped murderer
Police near Montreal are searching for a murderer who they say escaped a Canadian prison.
Police say Denis Bégin was missing during an inmate count at the Correctional Service of Canada in Laval, Quebec Friday afternoon.
The 58-year-old is currently serving a life sentence for second-degree murder.
According to the Montreal Gazette, Bégin shot and killed a 19-year-old over wearing the same hockey mask at a Halloween Party.
He has also served two sentences for conspiracy to commit a criminal act.
