Thanks mom ... do we know whether paternal or maternal g-parents?

I read it was the Paternal Grandparents. I think it was on the FB page, but can't find it. If I can I'll post a link.

Friends and family told CTV News that although Pernosky did not have custody of her child, she had a good relationship with the father, and was supposed to see her toddler on Sunday.

Pernosky has a one year old son. Her family says she has a good relationship with his father, who has primary custody. She would have seen her little boy on Sunday

Rachel Pernosky, 18, of Mission, was last seen on March 16, 2013.
On Jan. 28, Rachel Pernosky posted an Instagram snapshot showing a page out of her notebook. It was a list of reminders, bits and pieces of wisdom the 18-year-old young mom seemed to be jotting down for herself.

“Be an adventurer in search of treasure” was the last line of the page.

So very sad - she appears to be such a lively beautiful young woman.

And so very angry that someone thinks they have the right to kill another person. I hope they nail whoever is responsible and that there is some sort of "justice". When is this all going to end?

Hugs to her family and to her loved ones.

Hmm ... 43400 block would be in Chilliwack which is across the Fraser River and east (about a 45 min drive)

Pernosky's child is with his father. Child was not with Pernosky when she went missing. Father of Pernosky's child not a suspect at this time.

Social media aspect part of the investigation, police say.

Cause of death for Pernosky not released. Police have no motive or suspect yet, but don't believe attack was random.

Mission to Old Orchard Rd in Chilliwack, access would most likely be via the freeway (Trans Canada) and up Lickman Road onto Chilliwack Mountain Rd.

OR, there is more immediate access from downtown Chilliwack if for some reason she was taken into Chilliwack proper > old downtown Chilliwack out Wolfe Rd > Scheyey Rd > Chilliwack Mountain Rd

There are Drive BC highway cams on the Freeway, and I'm pretty sure there is one right at Lickman Rd .. hopefully LE can get the tapes.

ETA: Dang .. I could be wrong about a cam at Lickman ... there is one at Evans Rd which is just east of Lickman and I don't see any between Abbotsford going east to Chilliwack until the Evans Rd overpass :(

Oh no!! I actually believed she would return home.

Praying for justice and her family. Hope we hear more soon.

I have to wonder by some of the comments on the Find Rachel FB from her friends seem off. IMO, I wonder if any of them know more than they are letting on..
