GUILTY Canada - Rhoderie Estrada, 41, murdered by intruder, Toronto, May 2018 *arrest*

Targeting could have happened. She was a nurse and was exposed to many ppl in a hospital who might have become infatuated with her. It has happened before to other women. JMO

I'm a person that goes by odds and percentages. In cases like this, 90% of the time its the husband or romantic partner. It is quite odd that a guy who owns a restaurant, and would have to be working extremely long hours, would not be at home until 2:30 AM on a Friday night. Its also suspicious that the three children were not awakened by the attack, but by the husband's reaction to finding the body. It would also be very ballsy for an intruder to break in to a home at night where five people reside. How did he know the husband wasn't home? How did he know the kids were sleeping?

Not that it couldn't have been an intruder, but the odds are telling me this is very likely a domestic incident that is being covered up.

I agree with all that you have posted.
However, someone posted a link saying that the husband was attending a restaurant opening that night.
Perhaps he was, perhaps he wasn't. It should be fairly easy to prove or disprove.

It sounds like someone she knew and someone who knew she was there alone JMO

Operating a restaurant business is not easy. Perhaps the husband is a dedicated owner/manager and liked to be very much present in the restaurant to make sure operations run smooth. When a business closes, the employees can not fly out the door. I worked in a restaurant in college and sometime did not get home till 3am. So much to do.

OR

The husband was involved with something personal after business hours.....

There are a lot of "ballsy" intruders that do things that don't make sense to us the outsiders. There are many possibilities and it is very common for criminals or ppl who have their own reasons that want something bad enough to stake an investment in their crime . Not much to go on yet in this case but every angle should be looked and not just the stats. JMO

Husbands will always have an alibi. Not sure I've ever seen a restaurant that stays open till 2:00 AM though.

ARRESTED: Police lay charges in May 26 murder of East York woman
Yostin Murillo, 22, of no fixed address, has been taken into custody and will be charged with first-degree murder, Carbone said during a Sunday evening press conference.

He declined to say if Estrada’s murder was random or premeditated, and wouldn’t comment on the cause of death — but did say there was no prior relationship between the victim and the accused.

Carbone likewise wouldn’t elaborate on the circumstances of Murillo’s arrest, instead appealing to anybody who had contact with the accused to come forward to police.

Im a little confused by what police said. Did she know the killer? NO! When asked if it was a random event it seemed like he wanted to say no, but wouldn't answer. So if she didn't know him, how could in not be random? Something tells me we are going to hear a lot more about this.
