Manitoba Band Councillor Missing

A Lac Brochet Manitoba First nations Band Councillor is reported as missing. He failed to pick up a pay cheque at the end of June, and has not been seen since June 26...

...Richard Joseph Tssessaze was last seen in the downtown area of Winnipeg, Manitoba on June 26th and has not been seen since. Tssessaze is 37 years old, 5 feet 11, about 240 pounds with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and black dress pants. He had been in Winnipeg since June 14th after visiting his girlfriend in Brandon, Manitoba. He had left his identification at his girlfriend's house. Tssessaze has suffered from head trauma and may be disoriented. It is believed that Tssessaze does not have any money...

A panic-stricken remote First Nation held an outdoor candlelight vigil in the blustering wind and rain Thursday night for a missing band councillor who was last seen two weeks ago...

His disappearance has rocked the fly-in community of Lac Brochet — one of the province's most remote First Nations, 200 kilometres north of Lynn Lake. Relatives and friends of the father of four haven't heard from him, which they say is completely out of character.

Can't find anything about him ever being found.

That is why I put it on here. There are a large amount of Aboriginals from Canada that go missing; apathy is not helping them to be found. Not sure what difference the date makes; I am just acknowledging that they are gone and posting it where more eyes will see it. After I posted them on FB, I brought them here.

Richard Tssessaze's last known residence was in Brandon, Manitoba. He had previously lived in both Thompson and lac Brochet. Richard was last seen in downtown Winnipeg in the area of the St. Regis Hotel, located on Smith Street, in late June of 2009. Since that time, Richard has not been seen or heard from, and his whereabouts remain unknown.
