Ontario Provincial Police say 75-year-old Robert Lambert was last seen at his home in Montague Township, near Smiths Falls, in 2018. (OPP/release)

'A $50,000 reward is being offered for information on the whereabouts of an eastern Ontario man who has been missing for seven years.'

“Prior to his disappearance, Lambert required assistance to travel and needed medication on a regular basis. In 2018, investigators were told that he had travelled to the United States, but there was no record of him crossing the border.”

Police are now offering a $50,000 reward for anyone who has information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.

Lambert is described as 6’3”, medium build with white hair and brown eyes.

The OPP says the Criminal Investigation Branch is overseeing the investigation into the disappearance of Lambert, adding “foul play cannot be ruled out in the disappearance.”

“We were initially told he had travelled to the United States, but there is no record of Mr. Lambert ever leaving the country,” Acay said in the video.''

''A man charged this week with first-degree murder in the disappearance of Robbie Thomson in Smiths Falls co-owns a property with another missing man — a property being extensively searched by Ontario Provincial Police.

Property records show Robert Lambert bought the densely wooded lot on Kelly Jordan Road in Montague Township near Smiths Falls in 2004.''

''At the time of his disappearance, investigators were told that he had returned to the U.S., OPP spokesperson Bill Dickson said Friday. But there was no record of Lambert crossing the border. Dickson declined to say who provided the information that Lambert had gone to the U.S.''
Missing Smiths Falls, Ont., man Robert Lambert was the sole owner of this house on Kelly Jordan Road until April 2018, when murder accused Chris Fenton came on as co-owner.

A large-scale search of the Kelly Jordan Road property is still underway, and will remain ongoing "for quite some time," Dickson added.
