Ronnie disappeared from Prince George, British Columbia on September 25, 1953. He was last seen around 4:40 pm on a train station platform near the National Hotel on First Avenue and Dominion Street. He was waiting for his father to return from work, which is something he always did. Ronnie was known to be "too friendly" with strangers and was last seen talking to an unknown man on the platform who left on a eastbound train.

Ronnie's family started looking for him when he didn't come home for supper. They called the police at 7:45 pm and extensive searches were conducted. His tricycle was found abandoned near the train station but there was no trace of him. Despite unconfirmed sightings, Ronnie has never been located.

have they ever tried to see if the boy in the box was him?

Wasn't the boy in the box (1958)? Ronald would have been 9 years old. Could a 9 -year old boy look 4-6 years old if he was malnourished. I know that the Grimes sisters was 1957 and I thought the boy in the box was two months later.

I meant 57 and yes a boy 9 could fit in the box that size. them bassinets from back then were pretty big size to what we got nowadays. the boy in the box was also said to be anywhere from 4 to 7 years old
