GUILTY Canada - Rori Hache, 18, pregnant, found deceased, Oshawa, Ont, 29 Aug 2017

Not sure exactly what Rori's mom does or doesn't know. She didn't seem to know much about Rori's boyfriend or her pregnancy, so I don't think they were talking or seeing each other daily at that point. Remember, she was in hospital and Rori didn't have a phone, so there might have been a disconnect at that time. She said she felt Rori was hunted since day one, so I don't think this is based on any actual evidence, just a gut feeling. As for the uncle, not sure how much of that was just him over-anylizing the event in hindsight. I don't see this case as being one where there was a threat to her, I feel it just happened. We know Rori and AS were frequenting the same area, possibly she lived near by and he was watching her. If you look at what others have said, his pattern is to befriend the "down and out", then lure them to his home. I don't see him straying from that. He didn't have a vehicle, and he lived downtown. If he was to abduct her he'd basically have to carry her home through the downtown streets. Nope, she went to his home willingly and met her fate there.

Well I wonder who’s phone she used to speak with her godmother on August 27th then? This info is noted in the link I cited in my last post.

Did you guys know she had more than one account on fb and twitter? I think maybe on IG as well. I searched many different name combinations because someone in the fb group said she hadn’t been on fb since 2015. I didn’t think this was accurate and sure enough, found posts she made and comments she made from about age 11 (?) through to July 2016. I wonder if that’s why her mom felt she was hunted?

This is also true. Tony still likely lives there and doesn't wish to be harassed by the media. IF they lived together.

I also found it interesting that Rori's mother seemed to imply that he wasn't so much in the picture. I don't think anything of him one way or the other, or am I alluding to any involvement, just thought it was an interesting tidbit.

It seems like the mother has never met this tony person?

I mean she appeared to have a strong online presence from a young age over multiple usernames or profiles. I wondered why so many different profiles initially but then imagined she may have lost or forgotten passwords or changed emails etc. It may have just been easier to create a new profile as needed than to recover old ones. No big deal. Just I wondered what her mom meant when she said she felt her daughter was hunted. There are t too many other ways you could take that statement then to think she may have been stalked over time. Her online presence may have made her movements easier to track is all.

Whether it was over time, or not, I interpret "hunted" to mean targeted. She was targeted by this man for one reason or another. "Hunted" is just the "predator vs. prey" way of describing it, but that's exactly what it is.

There was a young man named Cameron Bailie, who went missing in Oshawa, and whose body also turned up in the lake (as did Rori's remains) but I don't know if Rori and Cameron were friends, either. Some folks see similarities in the two cases, as they are both highly suspicious and suicide has been ruled out, but no actual link has been confirmed or reported on.

Rori had a friend named Dominik Prusinski who was murdered last January. The case is unsolved. (He was never missing.)

Yes, and I heard from someone in Oshawa that it was herself and her bf, and they had to jump out of the second floor window. This is consistent with the first article you posted.

Poor dog. And the two of them sustained some bad injuries.

I'm not sure that it was Rori who lived in that apartment - BUT IF IT WAS DO NOT SHARE THAT INFO HERE AS I AM AWARE POLICE HAVE ASKED THE INFO NOT BE RELEASED (as per someone's post upthread).

My understanding was that one of the injured parties though was Rori's mother - I believe it was reported via CP24 last week following the court appearance by AS that her mother had been in the hospital recovering from injuries sustained in the fire when her daughter went missing.

Yes, that's correct, and my understanding as well. I was saying that Rori's mother and her bf sustained injuries from the fire and were forced to jump out the second floor window. That's who was there at the time. I really don't know much about where Rori lived, other than it's been said that she had her own apartment.
