Public’s help sought in locating 24-year-old woman and her seven-year-old daughter | Royal Canadian Mounted Police

Codiac Regional RCMP are asking for the public's help to locate a 24-year-old Moncton woman and her seven-year old daughter. Samantha Thebeau and, her daughter, Kaylee Thebeau were last seen on Mountain Road near Plaza Boulevard in Moncton, on August 16, 2018.

Samantha Thebeau is described as being approximately 5'6" tall, weighing 146 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. Kaylee Thebeau is approximately 3'8" tall, weighs approximately 64 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair.

On August 20, 2018, police were asked to check on their well-being by family. Police have followed up several leads to try and locate them, but have so far been unsuccessful. It is believed that mother and daughter are together.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to contact Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.

Is there a boyfriend or husband in the picture? I didn't see anything in the article. I sincerely hope it's not murder/suicide. I can't handle all these children being killed by the people who should be protecting them.

Without more information, it could be anything from a camping trip where she forgot to tell anyone, an accident in rough terrain, or worse. Are police looking for a particular vehicle? Does her family have any specific concerns, but they are unsure how to search for more information?
