On May 29, the family of San Li Liao reported her missing to the Surrey RCMP. Now investigators believe the woman met with foul play. IHIT said investigators conducted extensive ground searches, spoke to multiple people, and reviewed video surveillance.
Liao was last seen leaving her workplace in the 14900-block 54A Avenue on May 26. Her green 2000 Toyota Sienna, B.C. licence plate 731XEJ, was found three days later in the area of the Guildford Recreation Centre.
