Would be interesting to see a picture of Michael French to see if he matches up with the witness drawing.

I have a good feeling about this lead. A lot of "cold cases" are already solved underground. Many people do not talk to the police, even if it means murder of children/teenagers goes unsolved.

After reading some more links and this story: http://www.americanmafia.com/forum/toast.asp?sub=show&action=posts&fid=1&tid=43984

I have a feeling that Mike French had quite the reputation in the biker world. It is possible that papapete misremembered some events (according to Sharron's mom, French was a suspect in a nearby abduction attempt), and confused this case with another one.

I saw a lady who was shocked with papapete's tone in writing. Well if you plan on going down the criminal underground research road, get used to it. That is how they talk. And no they don't care.

Bumping for Sharron and hoping for the right tip to help her loving family.
Could her killer/s live near the family, or might Ontario be home to someone who should not sleep well at night?

Comments follow blog with suggestions of possible perp..
http://www.defrostingcoldcases.com/new-action-re-sharron-prior/

from your link above.
According to the doctor, she had been dead for at least 20 hours when she was found and most likely died on Tuesday afternoon. The asphyxiation was caused by blood in her lungs. Police said that she probably hemorrhaged internally when her assailant crushed her chest with his knee. This is not easy to do so we are not only looking for a heavy person. This was a strong person as well!...

Not sure how they would come to know it was his knee. But reading the link about the injuries made me want to ask if any POI was studying in the martial arts?
Around that time martial art films were popular at the movies. Alot of Bruce lee wanna bes were everywhere.

April 11 2012

"People are often scared to call 9-1-1 [saying], 'Oh we're going to bother the police officers,'" said Mark David of Longueuil police. "Well that's our job. That's why we're here."

Police say despite 37 years since Sharron's death, any clue could still be useful.

"Sometimes we can go very far with just a little piece of information," said David.

Anyone with information about the murder of Sharron Prior is asked to call Longueuil Police at 450-463-7211. All callers will be treated with full anonymity and confidentiality

I wonder if there might have been any connection between these attacks and the abductions of several girls in the Maryland and Pennsylvania area between March and August 1975?

See the featured case threads on Sheila and Katherine Lyon who disappeared from Wheaton, MD on 25 March 1975.

Bumping..

Also wondering if there is a connection to the child killings in Quebec which LE now regard as connected..Sharron looks fresh and sweet imo, could she have been mistaken as someone younger?
