Gaaawrssshhh, RandomName479; I must be a worse sleuther than I think because I can't find any info other than the brief details LE has put out in the bulletins. If you were willing to PM some links I'd be so grateful -- but I don't expect that - no worries.

Is it acceptable to the TOS for you to say which social media sites she was using?
I guess we can't really offer tips if we know so little.

I found her facebook page: www.facebook.com/sherry.langdon.90

We are allowed to share the victim's social media pages and can discuss their posts but we can't discuss comments/posts from others nor can we publicly sleuth family/friends.

I don’t have FB so I’m going to try to develop some patience.

I can’t find anything except what LE has already put out there. Patience is not a quality of mine.

Was she a twin?

There’s a picture on her FB and I swear it appears that she has an identical twin sister. Also there’s a child featured in a lot of her pictures. Is there an Ex somewhere?

Some very serious weight changes as well. I’m wondering about an eating disorder.

What was going on in her life?

RIP Sherry.

That FB link above has a different surname. I can’t access it because I don’t do FB.
From what I have read, it sounds like a suspicious death with the OPP involved. JMO

Sherry lived in O-ville, worked at Loomis Express, and was originally from London, On. She studied Psychology at the University of Western Ontario. I think she was a mom -- there are pics of her with a really beautiful child on Fbook. (NSU: I'm not on social media either but looked online with a co-worker today). No recent posts AFAIK.
Jash, thanks for posting that link -- we didn't find her under that (not sure what we did wrong) but did under Mitchell and O-ville in Fbook.

Sorry Tealgrove -- I was posting before seeing your post.

I saw Sherry's page under the Mitchell surname in O-ville; I didn't see any weight changes or anyone who looked like a twin but perhaps I simply missed that. (The Langdon link seemed to take me to another family -- although there are many photos in Sherry's page with RL with the Langdon last name. -?) There was no info under relationship status.

Sherry was a beautiful person and it's clear that she was much loved.

(I'm not sure if anyone knows if she had Indigenous heritage? I'm only wondering in the context of the TRC and National Inquiry in Canada, and because justice for the families of MMIWG here has been VERY slow; frankly, violence against MMIWG remains a national crisis. Anyway -- perhaps this line of query isn't helpful or relevant.)

I'm just REALLY hoping we will have more word soon on what is being done in Sherry's case and what answers can be given to her family and friends. IF there was no foul play involved, that also can give some kind of closure in a way. But if she was the victim of violence, then I'm REALLY hoping LE has someone already in their sights and that we will hear word soon of an arrest. I'm hoping the tight-lipped strategy here is because that's the best way to work the case. But I am also feeling anxious and impatient. Hoping for word soon that can help her friends and family lay Sherry to rest in peace.

i was wondering about Indigenous as well from the little bit I read. Thanks for the info given just above.

OK -- I think I get the connection to the other surname now (thanks, Jash, for that -- although I'm still trying to piece it together.) It looks like she was married to RL (who is partnered with someone else in 2022). I just want to clarify: I'm not sleuthing these connections; rather, I've just been trying to learn a little more about Sherry and her life. My condolences go out to these folks -- they have had a terrible loss.

Question here - IF there was no foul play, why are the OPP involving forensic, the coroner and so on? Thanks in advance for any info about that.

On your important message below, twingy2022, I'm deleting my post --
I agree that keeping Sherry's friends and family in our hearts and minds is really important as we wait for more word. (Apologies to NSU and dotr since you responded to a post that has now changed)

Please everyone, lets not jump to conclusions here. Sherry was a great person who loved her family and friends. And is much loved by them. Once the coroner and the OPP do their job the facts will speak for themselves. Personally my heart is broken for her sister. She is such a sweet person and is going thru hell right now. And its going to take a ton of time to not cry at every little thing that brings Sherry to mind. Lets focus on seeing the facts and finding the evidence needed to put who ever did this behind bars. :(

A warm welcome from me as well, twinqy2022. I also am sorry you are here due to pain and suffering.
My main hope right now is that LE find the right answers and allow Sherry the peace she deserves.

The OPP missing person bulletin says she was last seen around 9:30pm on Riddell Road - but news reports are saying she was last seen at her residence? Unless her residence is on Riddell Road? (From her Instagram account it does appear that her place of employment is directly on Riddell Road).

AND it seems everyone is reporting her name to be Sherry Mitchell (except the news outlets that copied CTV’s error)

Edit for spelling.
She worked at the McDonalds, in Walmart, in Orangeville. She may have had a second job, but I know for a fact one of the places she worked was at Walmart. Her name is Sherry Mitchell.

Also she last seen at St. Louis Bar & Grill, which is on Riddle.

Do we know her employment type? Nurse? Photography? Also, single/married/with a partner? Very disturbing as it's about two weeks away from the anniversary of Shelley's attack.
Single. But I believe she may have been seeing someone on and off. She worked at McDonalds. She had a son from a previous relationship.

Thanks for sharing that info, Orangevilleslueth.
I have no idea why we're not hearing more about Sherry's case in the press. Does anyone have updates that I'm somehow missing? Sherry was a mother, a sister, a dear friend; her family members and other loved ones must feel besides themselves with grief and rage. I'm hoping LE is at least saying more to them than to the public.
We need some answers. Is there a POI? Does LE think she was targeted? Did she have any one or any ones in her life who made her uncomfortable? Is there any street surveillance of Sherry leaving the restaurant/bar she was last known at (thanks O-villeslueth) -- did she call a taxi, or walk home? Did she accept a ride with anyone? Was she there with friends? Was she online dating at the time? Where was she found?
What's up with report that she was seen after being listed as missing, as one poster here commented earlier (is there confirmation of this info and what does it mean for her case?)
We need journos to be on LE for answers.
