Canada - Sina Parsi, 32, found murdered, Toronto, Ont, 9 June 2015 - *Arrests*

Interesting. I disagree though.

There's no pattern on the 12:15am picture and the 4:10am image has a white & red skull canadian flag on the middle (kinda looks homemade-ish).

I'm wondering if the red & white skull canadian flag is a gang symbol? http://media.zuza.com/6/b/6b6602f0-7255-465b-a83d-77ed6bebef32/Clyde_Marshall___Content.jpg
I am no forensic analyst of videos haha but I see some sort of design on the hoodie in the 12:15am video but since he has his hoodie zipped down half way it is hard to compare that one to hoodie in apt video. But if his hoodie in the apt. video had been zipped down half way and then place it in the same lighting without colour as the 12:15am video and to me they still look somewhat similar...but definitely no gang hoodie that is for sure.

Video of SC's father picking up the dog at link. He seems to indicate that the dog was SC's pet before she moved to Toronto. Another shot of her in the back of the cruiser before court also in the video clip.

Article about the dog, with pictures,as well...

I know it is not of much importance but the reporting is just funny most days...this report is still calling the dog a PUP when it is actually 3 years old...the dog seemed pretty happy with her dad but of course what dog doesn't love a good roll in the grass :)

Can we stop with all the SP knew SC talk? There is absolutely nothing to suggest this. If you look at the video its CM that is talking to SP, SC doesn't say a word or even look at him. This certainly doesn't appear like she knew him at all.

Yes, usually rather men do this: they pretend to NOT know a woman because they otherwise get into trouble with their girlfriend ..... :)

Suspects in Vaughan man's murder may have known him through work

Det. Shawn Mahoney said the two suspects in the case, Sabrina Chouart, 27, and Clyde Marshall, 36, may have known Parsi through Chouart's work and the incident may relate to her job.

We also know that Parsi was a roofing contractor, who reportedly ran his own business.

It can also be 1st degree because of CM's previous charges for violent crimes involving weapons.

Btw: Sabrina is also charged with 1st degree murder.

http://criminal.findlaw.com/criminal-charges/first-degree-murder-overview.html

"Malice Aforethought"

Under many state laws, perpetrators of first degree murder must have acted with malice or "malice aforethought." Malice generally includes an evil disposition or purpose and an indifference to human life. States treat the concept of "malice" differently. Under some laws, malice aforethought essentially means the same thing as acting with a premeditated intent to kill or extreme indifference to human life. Other states require a showing of malice distinct from the willfulness, deliberation and premeditation generally required for first degree murder.

-.-.-.-.-

Many states also categorize certain methods of killing as murder in the first degree. These include intentional poisonings, murders resulting from imprisonment or torture and murders in which the killer "laid in wait" for or ambushed the victim.

I have looked again. I think, the CM's sweat jacket with hoodie is the same style and print on it in both videos/pics. BUT before entering the building, it looks as the sweat jacket is larger and more loosely, perhaps 2 sizes up. Odd. Look at the sleeves: they are pushed up and plenty wide by the elbow. The rest of the clothing is also more wide than the one he is wearing on the apt. floor. Maybe, CM has several sweat jackets with same print in different sizes? Not been paying attention during some B&E perhaps ... :D

I've considered this but $400 would buy a lot of marihuana, especially for a casual user. This guy didn't even drink. I really have serious doubts about the drug angle.

Thanks for posting that. I think this detective was not supposed to comment on the relationship but it slipped out. If it is through her work and she worked at Tim horrors maybe it is related to a job for CM. I know the news says CM was not one to be employed but if it is more to set up SP to rob him they could say anything to get him to show up. Maybe one of SP workers even frequents that TH and told SC his manager is looking for workers etc. In regards to the time maybe SC insisted that's the only time CM can meet. As for why they went to the apartment that is something that causes me to question whether it's something else. Someone said escort services as another job for SC somewhere on the thread but then most likely CM would not be there. If it were sex trade I don't know if the detective would say "job". But maybe he would.

The differences between the two videos is that the jacket is unzipped much more in the first video so the design is a little distorted by the flaps on either side folded over. The first video is also infrared so colours are distorted.

In the second video, the jacket is more zipped up but he is also wearing a dark backpack which covers part of the pattern on either side with the straps and causes the jacket to be more taunt because of the weight of the backpack.

IMO he is wearing the same hoodie in both videos.

She does look almost pleased with herself in most of the footage I've seen.

This isn't Canadian. We don't have states. Info might be the same but it might not be.

they went to take money from the bank, he must have been with them at the time because how else would they know his pin?

Get him to give it to them before he was murdered.

Hello. I've been following this case since the beginning. Such a tragedy.

About the missing time: since SP was playing soccer (and may have been sweaty), perhaps he stopped somewhere to get cleaned up? The clothes he was wearing while walking with the perps to the apartment building do not look like soccer attire to me.

Is it possible he could have gone home to get cleaned up? That may explain the missing hour or so in the timeline of events. I have no idea where the perps' apartment building is in relation to SP's residence.

lgr again. I may have answered my own question. IIRC, the "missing time" is between his parking his truck and then all three people walking into the apartment. I have not seen the video of him parking the truck, but I bet he is wearing the same clothes as in the apartment video. He didn't change clothes.

Perhaps CM and SC kept him waiting. Perhaps he had to just kill time in the woods until they showed up to meet him.

Wow. Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. With the wrong people.

RIP Mr. Parsi

Hello everyone...I'm new to the site and I have been following this case since the news broke, seeing as how I live about a 10-minute drive away from Woolner Ave. It's terrible what happened to SP and I'm glad that LE caught these two losers.

Just for clarification about a first-degree murder charge in Canada...1st degree murder charges can only be laid if the crime was premeditated, or if the murder was committed during the commission of a robbery, sexual assault, kidnapping, hijacking or if the victim was a police officer or prison guard.

Welcome KanyeSouthWest (great name lol) :welcome:

I'm going with during the commission of a robbery and possible forceable confinement myself.

These two could have robbed him right in the woods there so why take him back to their apartment? To tie him up? Sexually assault him? Torture the pin from him? How do they do this without making tons of noise? I realize that tenants may not trust police but calls can be anonymous and there is always the risk that SOMEONE in the building would call to complain about noise, etc.

I don't believe he was there for sex, $400 is too much. For much less he could find a sexy escort service, rather than a sullen woman with an unflattering hair style, a hoodie and her boyfriend and dog with her in their slummy apartment.

I don't think that LE would have made that reference to the suspect's known involvement with drugs if it wasn't relevant to the case.

SP's wife, in this video already discussed, http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/sina-parsi-missing-person-investigation-taken-over-by-homicide-unit-1.3111181, sort of lets slip that he parked his truck on Jane St at 11:30 and immediately walked towards the park. So that means there was 3/4 of an hour before he arrived at the apartment - perhaps after meeting and talking with the couple, he went back to withdraw the cash and then went to their apartment? But as above, why didn't they just mug him in the bushes at that point? My theory is they wanted his pin number. I don't know why they didn't steal his truck.
