Why would Stuart be travelling to West Vancouver. Does he have friends or family in the area or is it work related. Travelling from Edmonton to Vancouver is quite a distance so there must have been some purpose to travel there. I hope that LE knows more about this situation than they have released to the public and Stuart is found soon.

How odd!

West Vancouver is my hometown. Not really the type of place you venture to - sure you explore it if you're visiting Vancouver, it's very beautiful, but it's suburbia. Park Royal is a nice mall but anything that can be found there can be found downtown. That being said, West Vancouver is, of course, on the way to Squamish, Whistler, etc.

There are no hotels in West Van - only a motel in Horseshoe Bay near the ferry terminal. Another possibility - the ferry leads to Sunshine Coast, Bowen Island, or Nanaimo.

There are a few hotels in North Vancouver, West Van's next-door neighbour. Plus the multitude of hotels in the downtown core, which is a quick drive/bus ride over the Lions Gate Bridge.

I have shared this with my friends and family.

I wonder if he met someone in West Vancouver - someone he wanted to start a new life with? Odd that his car was found; not uncommon to park along the 99 and explore the lookouts (there are several "off the path" look out spots frequented by locals, likely tourists as well) and spots, but they say they suspect he is still in West Vancouver.

Did Stuart live at the residence reported above or was he visiting family, friends or co-workers.
Who actually reported him missing have not seen any information in this regards.
The photo of Stuart in Post #1 appears to be in a bank maybe his financial transactions could be a clue to his disappearance. Not much background information about Stuart.

Bump! Haven't heard anything in the West Vancouver community.

Why do Police believe Stuart may still be in the West Vancouver area. Do they know something that they haven't revealed to the Public. Is Stuart's disappearance related to a LE issue.

Not much background info about Stuart such as place of employment, married, children, family in West Vancouver. Strange. I hope he is found alive soon.
