The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with a suspicious incident investigation.

On Sunday, September 5, 2021, at approximately 5:40 a.m., police were called to the York Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West area.

It is reported that:

- a large quantity of blood was located in the hallways and elevator of a residential building

Investigators are requesting the assistance of witnesses who may have information regarding this incident.

Investigators are also concerned for the well being of a person who was potentially injured, and would like to speak to them to make sure they have sought medical treatment and are safe and well.''

Toronto police investigating suspicious incident after blood found at downtown building
''Police said they received reports of a physical altercation between a female and two other people.

Toronto police are investigating a suspicious incident at a downtown Toronto condo building.

When officers arrived, they did not find a victim but found blood in the hallways and the elevator of the building.

“Investigators are also concerned for the well-being of a person who was potentially injured and would like to speak to them to make sure they have sought medical treatment and are safe and well,” police said in a news release.''

Looked for, but not found any kind of update, wonder how close that building might be to this one? imo, speculation..

The articles both say York Street, so this could be the same building. A lot of articles I've seen since then on this most recent incident also reference Ice Condos, but still no update on what happened. Strange.

"It was a condo and I believe that the investigators spoke with who they needed to speak to," a media representative of the TPS told Narcity on the phone. "They're not concerned with what was located anymore."
