I was so hoping for a different outcome. After reading about the relationship with Hailey's mom, I had hope that this precious child would be found safe and unharmed.

Oh that poor tiny girl. I was so hoping they would find her alive and well and when they said it was someone who was or had been romantically involved with the mom, I thought maybe wee Hailey would be found alive. I cannot wrap my mind around why this man would do this.

That only leaves one question: why did he do it? Why did he murder a 27 year old single father and his 2 year old daughter? Was the child at the centre of this, was he angry with the father, or was this somehow connected with the child's mother?
