I'm stunned. Even though he killed the dad, why did he have to take Hailey away and kill her too? There is a lot of rage and jealousy here. IMO. I wonder how these feelings were fuelled?

If this was a custody issue, whereby Hailey's father was to be eliminated to secure full custody for her mother, she would never have been abducted. There is a different motive for this crime.

Couldn't agree more. It's been clear from the start IMO that her mother is a helpless victim like everybody else in this tragic situation. I can't imagine what she and her family and Terry's family are experiencing right now. This is amongst one of the worst things that can happen in life, losing dear loved ones under such evil circumstances. I hope that knowing the world is hurting with them and supporting them, they can find a thread to hang on and survive during this terrible time. Sending love and strength their way <3 that's all I can do.

Why, why, why?

I know there are thousands of missing people out there, and many homicides occurring daily. But something about this one is really eating me up. I've been crying nonstop since I read the announcement. I live in British Columbia and the amber alerts have been widespread, on the radio every 5 minutes, on every bus... my heart goes out to her family. I hope the sick who did this suffers, and feels even an ounce of the pain that this family has endured and will continue to endure for the rest of their lives.

Hailey, may you rest in peace. Wishing you all the best up in the clouds dear girl, with everything you've ever wanted. Your dad will keep you safe up there. xo

Seriously... I know. Especially since Hailey was taken away alive and Terry was killed on site. Why not let her go? Seriously whoever did this could have left her in a parking lot or a doorstep and ran away and that would have been far better than what this evil monster has done. Did the perp think they were in too deep and illogically thought killing her too would somehow help them out? The initial damage was already done, Terry was killed. Why make the decision to kill her too? The perp obviously had time to think about it. Did they illogically think if they were both killed they wouldn't get caught? You already murdered one person, how the hell is killing another going to help you further. I feel so ****ing angry right now.

Maybe whoever killed her didn't want to be known as a child-killer; or wanted to punish the family by not giving them closure; or wanted people to think she'd wandered outside and got lost; or felt terrible about killing a baby and took the body away to hide it out of shame/guilt.

Who knows.

Just a tidbit of info you may wanna keep in mind .cops actually came out and said as of right now they wont comment on weather or not hailey's mother is involved in the disappearance or not.

When I looked at TB's fb page earlier today, every photo was of his daughter (some with the two of them). He didn't really post anything else after she was born. It was clear she was the light of his life. Those two souls bonded here on earth and will be together forevermore.

I am so sad for Hailey's mom and family, and for TB's family. What a nightmare they are living right now. Love and peace to them.

I don't think logic has anything to do with this. I think a crime such as this is committed by someone who is lost in overwhelming feelings of jealousy, rage, hatred and just wants to inflict damage on others. Male grizzly bears are known to kill the cubs of a female they want to mate with. I think we are talking about young men who are literally acting like animals.

At the last presser, he said "I won't comment on that..." about 387493874983 times to many different things.

by the sounds of it they new right away who killed the dad so they could then say he also kidnapped hailey but they new real fast it was just finding him and he is i think i read 24 26 so one to know who he is so fast the familly knows him and with them not wanting to say if mom was involved or not iam thinking that maybe she was having a affair with this perp then shut it off he went nuts and did this it all fits and makes sence ..
