Reading the last couple pages over...a thought occurred to me...well...more a question....

Was it ever stated that the glasses were found intact and undamaged...or that they were just....found?

& like I said a couple pages ago....like he-double hockey sticks would I be missing that b'day party...Can you imagine how that child will now remember THAT specific day...I don't believe their gramma would intentionally inflict that kind of a forever memory on a loved family member...

I think IF...big IF...she ran away...it wouldn't be that day...JMOO

I wonder if the dog made a fuss that morning for another reason. JMO

I wondered what her spending habits were like...did she have any habits to live beyond her means? Did she live excessively? Overspending or overindulgence issues? Personal issues related to finances that led to any temptations at a place of employment like... Misappropriation of funds? Unauthorized allocation? Theft or fraud? Falsification of documents? Were there any independent audits being conducted which discovered missing funds? If this was a possible scenario,as one of various hypothetical ones, the weekend would have been a good time for someone to help her leave..it may have even been dependent on the other person's schedule. Perhaps a split decision was made after going it over with a friend based on what she felt she had to do and what her options may have been. Again, just one of various scenarios I have wondered about.

Well I noticed that her boss is pictured in a ctv video wearing a purple shirt so if there was any hint of that I doubt he would have been present for any searches ....if she was my employee and there were employment related concerns such as misappropriation of funds I would support my staff to assist in the search but probably wouldn't appear myself....jmo

Not sure if it's related or not but I just saw that the wpg police, ambulances and fire dept are either attempting to save someone or pulling a body out of water in St vital ( just saw a tweet) end of Kearney street near a pond I think it said....happening right now

There is a small ..appears to be man-made pond between Bishop Grandin & Beliveau ..south end of Kearney...right next to the greenway...no river or creek access to it...& it looks swampy...cattails and such on the edges...

Never thought of that , excellent , and if it was me , yes I would get the ladder , and worry about her ride later , she is running late anyway.

Your "theory" fits well , because supposedly it was a loosely planned Saturday morning without a set schedule. The only way I would not buy the ladder was if "she" wanted to pick it out , which is a type of role-reversal in tool purchasing , but not impossible I suppose.
I'm not really sure you took from my message the meaning I was trying to relay.

I think it's over saw another tweet from cjob stating that paramedics and firefighters said they were assisting a person in distress...so not related

Likely a suicide or death by misadventure (kids on Summer break, drinking)... Area way to far away to be related, IMO.

I am not certain this is a match. The houses at those addresses on street view are all two story houses. The video houses are single story.

98...where the video camera would be..is a 2 storey....but the houses across the street ...85 *TK's house*...91...95 & 99...are all one storeys...or bi-levels...

I deleted my posting because right after I hit send, I realized the camera was overlooking only part of the home (98). Thank you. :)

Well it's hard to tell with the bright sun and the angle...and with the new subdivisions...all those houses seem to look very similar...throw in bi-levels that look like they are taller and well....I'll just shut up now...*L*...sorry for nitpicking :)

Perspective:

Home --> Toboggan Hill --> Canadian Tire

Two major highway crossing points to make this round trip. This is assuming these are the only points of interest, which I doubt. Certainly the area of coverage would include at least a few more pivot points. With such a large area and so many possible paths Thelma could have taken (including places inaccessible to autos), how would one know where to drive around to look for someone? Toboggan Hill is off the beaten path. From Filbert, with so many other likely possibilities, it would be such random happen chance for someone to end up over there looking for someone else.

(BTW, there are about 6 Canadian Tires in the area, but this one is closest)

.

Here is a pictures of where TK would have walked if she was on Concordia Ave heading West to the the Valley Garden Park where the glasses were found

The blue arrow off in the distance is approximately where the Park is , The overpass is Highway 59

Make note of the lady walking .... this gets interesting ... more in a minute.

How bizarre Arnie M, it does have a look of Thelma but maybe a bit older and heavier I think.

Bizzare is right !!! .... keep in mind she has been walking for months .... she should look younger and lighter by now .... haaa

Another thing to consider is everybody has a car in that neighborhood , I think it is rare for someone to hike several miles to the store and haul the groceries back

But in Thelma's case , it sounds just like her. I bet it is.

It's possible that's it's TK. This was taken in April and since then she's been in training for her hiking trip in BC, she could have lost weight from all the walking she's doing.
