Found Deceased Canada - Thelma Krull, 58, Winnipeg MB, 11 July 2015

Okay so I did some streetview 'walking' and found the location where the security cam would have been....IMO..

I compared trees ...houses etc...and I will post my approximation here...

The sun is coming from the east ...7:30 in the morning ...the shadows show that in the video...so the video is looking eastward with the shadows being cast to the west

Filbert runs north-south...so I assumed this was from a cam on the west side of a street...

I started by looking on Filbert...and it's very close to home...in fact only 2 doors down ...& opposite side of the street...

In the video on the garage of the house in the foreground (98) you can see the window with shutters...found that first....then their 'fluffy' tree in the front yard....then the 2 trees across the street...

The houses match ...the trees match....the window with shutters...everything....

So here is my opinion & MOO...and street view backs it up...this is a view from 98 Filbert...directly across the street is 95...to the left or north is 91...each of those houses have the trees in front....if you go one more house to the north/left looking at the video/picture...is 85...Thelma's house...you can just 'barely' see it's roofline over the garage of 98...

If this is the case...when this documented her walking...she had literally JUST gone out the door.....heading south...Which would not be in the direction to get to VGCC...unless of course Google's idea of direct *what else is new?*L* isn't so direct...

Haaaaa .... LoriMca .... I just spent the past hour doing the same and we posted at the same time

I first went up and down every street , (did not start close enough to home) ... then went by the sun direction , the street lamp and the trees in the video and found it.

I believe I read somewhere, probably the Facebook missing page that the direction she starts out is the opposite direction of the community club. So your post makes sense.
Police appear to be looking at a tight time line. 0730 to 1000. Guess that was when the cell pinged with the call from her daughter?

A more likely route if security camera location is correct....

85 Filbert south to Perfanick ...turn right...southwest on Concordia Ave E....
Continuing on Concordia heading west'ish...travel under the overpass at Lagimodiere/Hwy 59 ...
Continue west'ish along Concordia crossing over Molson...then past Concordia Hospital...
Continue west to Louelda and turn right/north & go one block north to Kimberley...
Turn left & travel west on Kimberley and you hit Terry Sawchuk Memorial Arena and behind it to the north is the park...which has VGCC on the north side...
Alternatively....when travelling west on Concordia...rather than turning right/north to Louelda...if a person were walking and wanting to get to the park....
You can travel about 1/2 block further west while on Concordia....and there is an apartment parking lot as well as a wide green space/strip which brings you out directly to the park/Kimberley/Arena....

This green 'strip' is to the east of Elmwood Kildonans Pool and the football field for Kildonan East High School...it's a bit more direct than Louelda...
I've marked the green 'strip' with a neon green ...strip

Maybe nobody saw her walking by the community club because she wasn't there and somebody tossed her stuff.

From the security video footage, police know Krull was wearing black capri-style pants, a reddish-orange shirt, hiking boots and glasses the morning she went missing.

Nothing new to report other than police mentioned some video stills of 2 people with tennis rackets in the sports complex area and want them to contact police

I expect they will show the public those pictures on the news or whatever.

Bottom line , it sounds like police have very little to go on , and are asking for the tiniest bit of info from anybody who was around that morning..

There has to be more footage somewhere! The high school? Community centre? The pool and other complexes? I'm struck by how many cameras I see walking around

If she were abducted and/or killed at the community club she would have to be removed with a vehicle.
Then what?
Where does one go and when....to dispose of her?
I thought of the boat launch off of Henderson by the perimeter but in broad daylight it's not going to happen.
Drive out to a rural location? Lots of those. Where does one start?

I just read on Facebook that police are searching on Tu Pelo Ave. Behind superstore. If you look at the map you can see a small green space. I don't know that area so not sure what it is.

This is quite an unusual event, and quite a big story because it is so unusual for a woman in Winnipeg to vanish under these circumstances. Usually women of that age who vanish are considered suicide and the body is found months later.

I'm with you Otto. I first thought she killed herself by jumping into the red river but the found eyeglasses changed it for me.
