On February 1, 1983, his wallet was mailed to his home from Detroit, Michigan. Maletic also has ties to the Windsor, Ontario area.

I was coming to suggest the same UID, the height and weight are very close between the two. Both have brown hair and eyes.

I wonder why Namus has him as missing from Detroit?

I believe it’s because his wallet got mailed back to his home in Toronto from Detroit. I also think it’s because there’s a good chance he ended up in Detroit somehow and Canadian MP cases can’t be entered into NamUs so they simply put Detroit as his last known location. Probably want to rule out that he’s a John Doe that was found on US soil

This could be another potential match, the height is a match and the weight is only off by 10 pounds. Hair color is also a match

I understand all of those reasons, however, unless the Michigan State Police are aware of something we are not, he was last seen in Ontario. Perhaps they are aware. I’ve been hoping that as well for years. I believe Tania Murrell might’ve been taken into our country from Canada so it would be beneficial to cases like hers. There’s also Americans who might be unidentified or just in Canada

Yes, it is a possible. The clothes and footwear don't really match up but then again, perhaps he shopped at a thrift store later on (also inscriptions of other names inside several clothing items). Did anyone want to send it in, is there a contact?
