One difference between Sharlene's description and the Toronto man.
Sharlene said the man was wearing a long sleeved orange shirt, Toronto man says short sleeved, he also noticed many tattoos but the one stood out.

I can't remember his exact words but LE said there is nothing in the past of either Mr. or Mrs. Bosma that would be related to this incident.

Tim Bosma is self-employed in construction.

So, the fact that they test drove a similar truck in Toronto certainly convinces me that TB was not their target - the truck was, just as LE indicated at the start of the investigation. What a shame to hurt someone (assuming that is the case), just for a truck. So sad.

I missed the beginning of the presser... was the Toronto test drive the same day as Tim went missing?

excellent identifying information. but i don't feel any better about TB making it out of this safely. i hope i'm wrong!

does canada document inmates tattoos? if this person has been in prison after he got this ambition tattoo... would it have been documented? someone put that tattoo on him, i can only hope that it's someone that isn't very close to the perp and wouldn't withhold the information in identifying him. someone knows who this is.

did anyone catch the date that the other man, with a similar truck did the test drive with these men? was it before or after TB?

IIRC, LE said his phone was turned off around 10:00 that night. I'm surprised it was on for 30+ minutes.

What is the motive here? Has a ransom been requested? What is the purpose of taking Tim, to get the truck? Why risk having a witness?
