CHCH is announcing this morning that they will be searching the hanger today after getting warrants, are you telling me they have not entered that hanger yet and have only been searching the outside because they could not enter it? what if Tim is inside the hanger being confined? what do they know, pretty sure they would be able to open that hanger if they "thought" he was inside? Also wonder if the red truck was used to back the trailer into the driveway at his mom's. Neighbors are saying they have not seen his monther in a week but that "they" keep to themselves and are very private so that didnt seem unusual to them. I am thinking DM's accomplice will be someone that we dont even see on fb..someone DM may know outside of his childhood friends, this crime seems a little far out of their league

When I drove by the hanger yesterday it was a single cop car guarding the police tape.. really seemed like they were just protecting it from someone entering it and tampering with the hanger..

I didn't have a chance to look at the trailer pics, but my DSO did and he said that it is a GN (gooseneck) set up like many horse trailers. That means that the hauling vehicle would have a ball in the bed of the truck. It would probably take an F250 size vehicle to haul that with any kind of load in it, and a lot of haulers prefer a dually to do that. So did anybody see that kind of vehicle in Kleinburg? The "chicken lights" on Tim's truck aren't truly exceptional; a lot of bigger trucks used to haul have them.
Dee

Apparently the Dodge Ram 3500 is on the top 10 stolen vehicles and they often go over seas. Often overseas from Montreal and they would not stop at weigh scales hauling that trailer. JMHO

Unless they have reasonable grounds to believe he is in the hanger and in imminent danger (like they can see him, hear him shouting for help, suspect said he was in there etc) then they cannot enter without a warrant.

In a case like this, getting a warrant shouldn't take this long, if they had to wait until today for a warrant, that is rediculous!

I dont think we will even get a press conference today if the hanger still needs to be investigated, fb event page is saying they cannot give us any information at this time that to support the family, friends and volunteers :( feeling very sad and uneasy about this :(

This is the law that needs to be follow I know it sucks, it is all about following procedure so when it gets to court in form of evidence it will not be through out because proper procedure were not follow , in some cases the law sucks

I do not believe for a moment that the police would take any chances if they thought TB was in that hangar. They may be waiting for a warrant to search and inventory the hangar or get forensics into the hangar, however I am certain they have checked to see if TB is in it. Being allowed to go in and look for TB and going in to do forensic work are two totally different things. I rest assured that the police have this under control, working feverishly to bring a close to this search for TB. I also believe they are keeping ALL close to the vest, and rightly so as putting out delicate information can hinder an investigation and also cause big issues in future prosecution of the guilty. Keep the faith, and lets pray today is the day they bring TB home...IMHO

I wonder if the hanger is not in DM name and that is why it has taken so long to get a warrant. They seemed to go into his residence right after he was arrested. :moo:

Maybe I watch too much TV, but isn't getting a warrant simply a matter of probable cause, and getting a judge to sign it?

Good point about maybe not in his name. I was also thinking about how quickly they went into the home.

IMO, a one-time stalker wouldn't illicit a response from AM who hasn't used his Twitter account since (iirc) Nov 2012

ETA: Arghhh ... sorry, am somewhat twitter challenged here ;) .. AM's tweet came first at 7:17 and ST's was at 8:12

Hi! I'm new to the forum too. I live in southern Ontario, and the whole thing is troubling.

You mention AM's tweet was at 7:17, but it wasn't. The game wasn't over. I looked at his twitter at around 10:30pm and I'm pretty certain that he (or someone) tweeted at 10:17. I don't use Twitter - is the timestamp a common Twitter glitch, or is AM tweeting from BC?

So, without going through hundreds of posts, I guess nothing new this morning, eh?
Last night was intense...between them finding the truck in the trailer, and the Leafs game...my nerves were shot!! I went to bed and laid there for hours trying to figure out why why why Tim would even try to sell a truck worth that much on Kijiji???? Why not take it to a dealer :(
It's a week today. I want to hope that someone is holding him, feeding him but again...why??? Especially with all this news, if someone was holding him, I doubt they are now! This whole situation is heart-breaking.

That hangar is under different name some under CEO of company, I am sure it has alarm system key pad, as I saw many of them at Airport had it , so I would assume they would of known by now that someone enter these premises

nothing much changed.. I am sure Police will report the reasons why the truck was stolen..
it is heart breaking... I am sure POlice probably will post the name of second suspect that they are looking for eventually after they run out of leads..

My reason for my comment about the hauling vehicle is....where is it? Find that and you will have a pretty good idea of who was helping this individual.

Hi everyone, I'm a new member from Hamilton and have been watching the board for the past few days. Just wanted to take a moment this morning to tell you I think you are all amazing and I have great respect for the way this site has been created and maintained. It has been a comfort to be able to see how many people are tirelessly keeping TB and his family in their hearts and minds this past week. I have a great place to go when I feel helpless over this whole thing.
I echo your hopes and prayers for TB to be found soon.

My thought is that they probably left TB in Brantford somewhere. Why would they take the chance of travelling with him and the cell phone was found in Brantford so they moved him at some point there. MOO
