Yes, that's my thought too (maybe because it's the only thing in this bizarre chain of events that makes some kind of sense.) I wonder if shipping the car to Klienburg was part of the original plan though but, instead, a kneejerk reaction to the heat coming closer mid-week. However, the most important practical reality in their stupendously stupid plot, imo, is that they had no more need for TB once the key fob was in their hands. He became a liability from that point forward. I suppose if they only needed that truck for a brief period in order to temporarily disguise their presence somewhere, then it's possible they just locked up TB somewhere where he remains, safe and sound. If they had a longer term plan for the vehicle, then keeping TB alive would seem much less likely.

One thing seems probable, though. imo. If DM was handed the key to start the vehicle at TB's home, then TB was an immediate liability from that point forward. The next opportunity for DM to get that key seems to have been in Brantford - maybe the Tims? - or somewhere nearby. Did they drive out to that sideroad where TB's cel was found to do some kind of speed test? That could have led to TB giving up the driver's seat and the key.

Do we know who was driving the vehicle when it left TB's house?

Hi! I'm new to the forum too. I live in southern Ontario, and the whole thing is troubling.

You mention AM's tweet was at 7:17, but it wasn't. The game wasn't over. I looked at his twitter at around 10:30pm and I'm pretty certain that he (or someone) tweeted at 10:17. I don't use Twitter - is the timestamp a common Twitter glitch, or is AM tweeting from BC?

I apologize - I might be wrong about the timing. I could have sworn that tweet didn't come in until after 10, but perhaps I didn't see it earlier.

My impression is AM comes from an average family in terms of wealth. Unlike DM, he didn't go to private school, he doesn't have expensive cars and toys (I think he drives a Corolla), and he worked in the trades (plumbing/construction). I think he was in awe of DM, who is a few years older, and it seems like DM is the one with the connections and access to an exciting lifestyle. Heck, if I didn't know what I know about him, *I'd* want to be friends with DM too. MOO.

Look at the Mother's home, he obviously inherited his Father's home in another wealthy neighborhood, has all the toys and possibly owns his own hanger? I did notice in one of the pics of the outside of the hanger was a bell sattellite dish with means that it was set up with television at some point, for parties to watch sporting events, so if they held him there they would have seen news and known the truck was spotted in waterloo and possibly needed to move evidence to Kleinburg.

No, you're correct. The tweet was made after the game ended. The member you quoted may be in a different time zone which explains the different time stamp.

Got to wonder if it was someone else's plan that DM got mixed up in. But from what I read it was DM that was doing the test drive of TBs truck. Is that correct? I thought it was odd that there was a car repair lift inside the new aircraft hangar, not entirely out of place, just odd. I've heard of pilot types keeping fast sports cars in their hangars and going for the odd tear up and down the runway just for kicks, using it like their own private drag strip.

Morning everyone. This thread certainly is moving fast now! I'm glad a suspect has been arrested and I don't want to speculate on who might be the second suspect. I figured for sure the truck would've been stripped apart by now and I'm flabbergasted it was just sitting in a trailer on his mother's driveway. These guys are reeeal geniuses....

That being said, I feel a bit worn out by the whole situation today. I just want them to find Tim. I kind of feel like there's nothing else to say at this point. And if I'm feeling this way, I can only imagine how Tim's family feels.

There are some types of personality that don't really need a motive. I'm afraid he might be one of them.

Who wears the same clothing 2 days in a row? and then there's tons of food on the instagram account of AM only a few days ago AFTER Tim went missing does not sit well with me.
To me it seems they planned this whole thing. Not sure if Tim was part of that plan, however they did have to set up to go to his house, and knowing where he lives could've done a drive by to see what they were dealing with. of course I have no clue but something is very off here.

DMs home was home from date of birth and was at that time home to both WM and MB. WM was probably there until shortly before death in Dec 2012.
Getting so much growing up can make people greedy, self centred adults that expects the world to give them everything. I think they not only dabbled in fixing cars, I think they took orders for vehicles and may be linked to organized crime to feed a habit. JMHO

Here you are, actively on the lam, with every newswire popping with news of TB's disappearance in which you know full well you are involved, and by tomorrow morning (Thursday) you will have completed the transport of the stolen vehicle to your mom's house in Kleinberg, so what, exactly, are you up to on Wednesday evening mucking around outside at your place with "a few other men"?

It is actions like this that make me really fear for what has happened to Tim.

Did anyone else see the news reports where neighbours of DM's mother said they hadn't seen her around in about a week and a half? I realize she could just be on vacation, but it jumps out at me that she hasn't been seen since around the time this whole thing started. I hope LE has confirmed where she is and that she's okay.

AM and RB knew something , about the theft to happen, but the rest might of be spontaneity action that nobody knew it will take..
nobody yet ID the "Fat Guy" on the photo of DM when they stand in front of trck with trailer.. he also seen taking photo of them, and at one point lying on the bed at Hotel in Mexico
the tons of food did anybody checked when was that photo take as far of date goes ? it could be from previous adventures to cottage or even to Baja500 in 2011,
