My few observations/thoughts of the press conference that just aired:

1) I really get the feeling that the police either have a strong suspicion on who the 2nd suspect is or are actively following/hunting the suspect and don't want to tip him/them off.

2) The police have not ruled out that there are more than 3 suspects. Depending on how many folks were in the 2nd vehicle (possibly an SUV type as per LE).

3) Tim Bosma's cellphone led the police to the accused Dellen Millard. The accused mother has absolutely no involvment or knowledge of this case.

4) Several vehicles and planes in the hangar(s) still being searched and Police Auto Squad will assist in determining what type of evidence is there.

5) Police is actively monitoring social media and the online footprint of this investigation. From time to time evidence is found this way.

6) AM has been intentified as a potential witness, interviewed and cleared of any involvement in this case.

Can anyone tell how long after DM was arrested that SS deleted his facebook account? I know someone said he probably deleted it because of the comments AM was getting on his but I think it was deleted so quickly that there really werent people leaving comments on it. Can someone confirm?

I BELIEVE the quote was in reference to Bosma. I remember thinking at the time he meant Dellen but then the sentence turned out to be about Bosma. Maybe someone else can confirm.

The Police have an officer monitoring all media. And there was a vehicle following Mr. Bosma's truck as it left his home, maybe 3 others involved besides DM :sick:

Yeah, they were saying that he's exactly what he sounded like he was, a good person, church-going father, etc.

I wonder why they aren't releasing a description of the second vehicle?

He said they cannot identify it from the Brantford video footage. He has experts looking at the footage. the most he could say was that is was similar to an SUV type, but he didn't want to even say that much as they dont know the kind of vehicle it is. They don't know who was in the following vehicle, male or female, or if there were additional individuals in the following vehicle. They are searching 3 vehicles in total now, including Tim's truck in Hamilton.

He also said that the auto division of the police is going to look at the cars in the hangar, and the reporter asked if that means this is car related and not plane related and he confirmed.

Tim was targetted. He confirmed that Millard and Tim have absolutely no prior connection. AM and DM's mother have been questioned and cleared.

I hope <modsnip> who tried, convicted and sentenced AM days ago and were posting abuse to his facebook page are proud of themselves.

Better restraint is required in these cases, not everything is how it seems. It was like watching a mob with pitchforks and torches and its possible that it really disrupted the investigation.

The FB was deleted in a day that DM was arrested.. when people found DM FB account

So after listening to that conference do we have a better sense of whether or not the truck was the motive or does it have more to do with TB? I couldn't hear very well since I am at work.

No, the detective clarified 3 people total, including DM the accused, the 2nd suspect, and the driver of the second following vehicle. He can't tell if anyone else was in the 2nd vehicle.
